Killian O’Brien, Gilpin County. Gilpin County School is currently still able to teach in-person, as well as have students participate in sports. With of course Covid precautions in place. This includes wearing masks, staying six feet apart, and sanitizing classrooms in between each class. There is block scheduling to minimize going between classrooms.
Gilpin does still offer online options as well, and because some students are online there are fewer students in a class at time.
Sports are also currently allowed, with masks. Fans are allowed at games to support whatever game is happening.
