
Victoria (Vicky) Jane Hardt (70) was born in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. She attended school in Lancaster, California, through her sophomore year. She graduated from Tehachapi High School in 1967, and attended Bakersfield College.
Vicky worked in food and beverage services in many locations, was head librarian at the University of Wyoming, and owned a shop in Laramie, Wyoming.

She was an artist who worked in many different formats including acrylic, watercolor, sculpting and more. She painted beautiful landscapes of places she lived and visited. She shared her love of art with her children and grandchildren, painting with them as they grew up.
Vicky most recently resided in Coarsegold, California. She lived in Greeley, and then Black Hawk, Colorado from 1996 to 2015. Before that she lived in Alamogordo, NM,and Laramie, WY, most of her adult life.

She was mother of Brandon Funk (Tiffany), and Charles Szekula (Amanda); stepmother of Katie Hardt-Mason (David), Barbara Hardt (Doug), and Chris Hardt (Dusty). As well as grandmother of Matthew Mills, Alexandra Mills, Darian Robinson, Allison Hardt-Zeman, Trace Szekula, Nick Hardt-Mason, Kaitlyn Hardt-Mason, Hayden Hardt-Zeman, and Kennedi Funk.
Vicky is survived by Brian Hardt, husband of 22 years; mother Harriet Smalley Anderson; sister, Linda Anderson; brothers, Jim Anderson and Dave Anderson; and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Anderson.
