LauraJane Baur, Nederland.  The Town of Nederland will be launching a new web-based agenda and records management solution from iCompass on November 30, 2016.

Town Clerk LauraJane Baur has been working through its implementation for the past few months and will be managing the first meeting of the Nederland Board of Trustees using this software on December 6th.

The transition to a web-based agenda and records management system is expected to benefit the Town of Nederland by improving the public’s access to information online through the CivicWeb Portal - a new online hub for meeting and records information.  This will provide complete searchable access to meeting packets and supporting items from previous and upcoming meetings online.

Residents can also sign up for e-notifications of upcoming meetings as the packets for those meetings are posted.  Folks will find a link on the homepage of the Town’s website, www.nederlandco.org.  In addition to the automated email notification system, iCompass will also post notifications to Facebook and Twitter each time an agenda or packet is posted.

The CivicWeb Portal will initially be introduced by posting just the meeting packets.  After that, the meeting minutes will be introduced to the Portal, and eventually the Town’s Ordinances and Resolutions will be posted.  Throughout the year in 2017, the Town will be adding more Town documents and Town Advisory Board agendas as well.  All items will be searchable through a link on the CivicWeb Portal.
