On Friday evening at the Jamestown Mercantile The Cody Sisters will be performing a set of melodic acoustic arrangments. Their music stirs up a whirlwind of emotion and inspiration. The soft sister harmonies remind the crowd of a simpler, slower time. Just three musicians, their almost entirely acoustic sound invokes the feeling of a full orchestra. The two sisters along with their bass player blend Old Time, Swing, Gypsy Jazz, Jazz, Folk, and Modern Bluegrass together in a completely unique sound that stays with the audience long after the show.
