The Gilpin County Transfer Station and Slash Site will be closed for the Juneteenth National Holiday on Sunday, June 18. They will also be closed for the Independence Day Holiday on Wednesday, July 5.

The Gilpin County Transfer Station is located just off of Highway 119, approximately 1/4 of a mile north of Taggert’s Gas Station at mile marker 15.5. The Gilpin County Slash Site is located directly across Highway 119 from the transfer station.
