The Summer Day Camp held at Nederland Community Presbyterian Church in June was tons of fun for everyone involved.
Seventeen local elementary children participated in the four-day camp. Church volunteers who helped coordinate the registration and supervision of the campers included Christian Education Elder Cinda Kochen and Worship Elder Jim Reis. Counselors from Highlands Presbyterian Camp led the camp each day.
Activities included Bible stories, crafts and outdoor activities in the church’s Guyer Garden as well as at Nederland’s Chipeta Park.
One parent commented that “My kids loved it and came home exhausted everyday from all of the fun they had. What a great experience!”
