On 6/1/19, a deputy contacted a vehicle on south Highway 119. The driver of the vehicle was driving while under the influence of a drug, driving while license revoked as a habitual offender and driving a stolen vehicle. The driver was arrested for numerous charges.

On 6/2/19, a deputy assisted Colorado State Patrol with a single vehicle DUI crash on Highway 119 at mile marker 3.6. The driver was uninjured and arrested for DUI.
On 6/2/19, a Gilpin County deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Lawrence Street, in Central City. The driver was determined to have a cancelled/denied Colorado driver`s license. Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing their seatbelts as required. Five small children were in the back seat of the vehicle and none of them were in booster/safety seats as required. The driver was issued a summons.
On 6/2/19, at approximately 12:02 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy conducted a welfare check on a motorcyclist who appeared to have had mechanical issues. Upon a clearance, it was determined the driver had a Cancelled/Denied CO Driver`s License. A tow truck arrived and loaded the bike. The driver was issued a Proof of Service.
On 6/2/19, at approximately 6:04 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy conducted a motor assist in the 2600 block of the Central City Parkway and discovered the driver to be driving under restraint, no proof of insurance and displaying fictitious plates. The driver was issued a summons and a case report was completed.
On 6/3/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on the Central City Parkway. The driver was arrested for DUI at almost twice the legal limit.
On 6/3/19, at approximately 5 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to 134 Gold Road, in unincorporated Gilpin County on a suspected cold burglary. Photographs were taken and a report was completed.
On 6/3/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Moon Dance Lane. The driver was arrested for violation of a protection order and several traffic offenses.
On 6/4/19, a deputy observed a male party trespassing on private property in Central City. The male party was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and trespassing.
On 6/4/19, at approximately 10 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to a criminal mischief call in the 100 block of Rudolph Ranch Road, located in unincorporated Gilpin County. After speaking to the reporting party, it was determined there was no suspect information. A case report was later completed.
On 6/5/19, at approximately 11:13 p.m., a deputy responded to the Gold Mountain Village Apartment Complex for a 911 investigation. Upon arrival, it was determined a disturbance was occurring between a male and a female party. A report was generated to document the incident.
On 6/6/19, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a deputy responded to a suspicious person call in Central City. While the deputy was speaking with the party, the deputy determined the party needed a mental health evaluation. The deputy completed the required paperwork and the party was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
On 6/6/19, at approximately 5 p.m., a deputy was informed of a male party in the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office lobby turning himself in on a warrant. A deputy located an active warrant. The male party was booked into the Gilpin County Jail on the warrant.
On 6/7/19, a deputy contacted a suspicious vehicle. The license plates were seized, and the occupants were advised not to drive until the vehicle was registered and there was a valid driver.
On 6/7/19, a deputy picked up two dogs on Missouri Gulch Road. The dogs were later transported to Charlie`s Place Animal Shelter.
On 6/7/19, deputies contacted a vehicle in the Century Casino Parking Garage. A male party was arrested for violation of a protection order.
On 6/8/19, a deputy located a party with a warrant in the 100 block of Nero Road, Gilpin County. The party was arrested for the warrant and a report was later completed.
On 6/8/19, at approximately 9:27 p.m., a deputy responded to 142 Lawrence Street, Central City, on the report of a motorist who almost struck parked vehicles. After an investigation, the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
On 6/10/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on two motorcycles for speeding on Highway 119. Both riders were issued citations.
On 6/10/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 119, in Rollinsville. The driver was arrested for DUI, violation of a protection order and driving while license suspended.
On 6/12/19, at approximately 2:35 p.m., and inmate who was attempting to post bond was found to have an active warrant out of a different jurisdiction. The warrant was located, and the inmate was booked back into the Gilpin County Jail without incident.
On 6/12/19, at approximately 7:23 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to Tolland Road/Rollins Pass Road, in unincorporated Gilpin County on a report of Criminal Mischief Vandalism. A report was completed.
On 6/12/19, at approximately 8:13 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy conducted an arrest at 8074 Tolland Road, in unincorporated Gilpin County, on a warrant for Fugitive of Justice and a case report was completed.
On 6/13/19, at approximately 1 a.m., a deputy responded to the Dostal Alley casino parking lot on the report of a motor vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle was later arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
On 6/14/19, at approximately 1 p.m., a female party reported to a deputy that she had found a gun on Rollins Pass Road. The female had moved the gun out of the road where it was found and went to report it. The female took a deputy to the location and the firearm was recovered. The firearm was cleared and was not on record. A report was made.
On 6/15/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a reckless driver on Highway 72. The driver was later arrested for DUI.
On 6/16/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on south Highway 119. The driver was arrested for DUI at twice the legal limit.
On 6/17/19, at approximately 6:49 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident - Property Damage, at the Z-Stop Gas Station located at 1351 Highway 119, in unincorporated Gilpin County. An investigation was conducted, and a report was taken.
On 6/18/19, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Richman Street. The driver was arrested for driving while license revoked as habitual traffic offender and a passenger in the vehicle was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance.
On 6/18/19, a deputy contacted a vehicle on Upper Apex Valley Road. The driver was arrested for DUI.
On 6/18/19 at approximately 7:57 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy, was dispatched to 84 Bear Drive, unincorporated Gilpin County, on the report of a dog bite. An investigation was conducted, and a report was taken.
On 6/19/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on south Highway 119. A passenger in the vehicle was arrested for a warrant and possession of cocaine.
On 6/19/19, at approximately 12:55 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Eureka Street in Central City for a hit-and-run accident. A report was completed.
On 6/19/19, at approximately 8:36 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on the report of a disturbance. A male party was later placed under arrest related to the disturbance.
On 6/20/19, at approximately 4:42 p.m., there was a training incident in approximately the 2500 block of Lake Gulch Road, located in unincorporated Gilpin County. A deputy was hit with a fragmentation off a bullet while training. The deputy was transported to a hospital, treated and later released. A case report was later completed.
On 6/21/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in Central City on a stolen vehicle. The driver was arrested. A report was later completed.
On 6/21/19, a deputy responded to a barking dog complaint on Coyote Circle. The owner was issued a summons.
On 6/22/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in Central City. The driver was later arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and a drug.
On 6/23/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Nevada Street in Central City. The driver was issued a summons for failing to display headlights, disregarding a stop sign and driving while license under restraint.
On 6/25/19, a deputy contacted a vehicle on a REDDI report. The driver showed signs of intoxication and was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 6/27/19, a deputy was dispatched to Cold Springs Campground on a trespassing report. Upon arrival the party had paid for a campsite but their license was under restraint, so a report was made.
On 6/28/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Gregory Street, in Central City. The driver was arrested for driving while under the influence of a drug and possession of methamphetamine. A passenger in the vehicle was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
On 6/30/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on south Highway 119. The driver was arrested for a felony warrant and issued a summons for driving while license revoked as a habitual offender.
On 6/30/19, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of South Beaver Creek Road and Highway 72, Black Hawk. The driver was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
On 6/30/19, at approximately 10 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy conducted an arrest at the Century Casino parking garage, located at 111 Lawrence Street., Central City, on the report of a Fugitive of Justice.
