Back to School Night has been different in the past years at Gilpin County Schools. This year students enjoyed a festival of fun to help spur their excitement for the school year. After meeting with their teachers, middle school students compare their schedules for the year. Students look over opportunities at informational tables around the school. Fancy face painting was a fun part of the back to school festivities. Hot dogs and hamburgers were served to make sure no one went home hungry. Parents, students and Elementary Principal Heather Huntoon had some moments to commiserate as the successful event was wrapping up.
