Gilpin School third, forth, and fifth graders shared their musical talent with a delighted audience on Thursday, March 6.
Students showed off their hard work, practicing their recorders and ukuleles - all played harmoniously. The audience enjoyed many songs, including Bobby McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy." The evening ended with the auditorium aisles and on stage, being filled with dancers who kicked and jumped to a modern version of the traditional folk song, “Cotton Eyed Joe."
