Jacqueline Hart Gibson, Black Hawk. The Black Hawk City Council was called to order at 3 p.m. on June 24, 2020, in a virtual meeting via Zoom. All city council members and Mayor Spellman were in attendance. The Pledge of Allegiance was observed, and no conflicts of interest were reported. The approval of the minutes from the regular meeting held June 10, 2020, and the special meeting held June 17, 2020, were carried unanimously.

According to the minutes from the special meeting held June 17, 2020, two action items were discussed by the council. The first, a resolution approving the amended and restated intergovernmental agreement by and between the City of Central, the City of Black Hawk, Gilpin County, and The Black Hawk-Central City Sanitation District B, was carried unanimously. The second, a resolution approving the settlement agreement and mutual release between the City of Central, the City of Black Hawk, Proximo Distillers, LLC, and RSM Partners, LLC, was carried unanimously.
In public hearings, an ordinance approving the intergovernmental agreement regarding Coronavirus relief fund distributions between the Board of County Commissioners of Gilpin County and the City of Black Hawk, was carried unanimously.
A resolution, continued from June 10, 2020, denying a variance to allow a height variance which would allow a structure 103 feet in height was carried unanimously. A second resolution continued from June 10, conditionally approving a certificate of architectural compatibility and a site development plan for the T-Mobile facility located at 821 Miners Mesa Road, was also carried unanimously.
In action items, a resolution awarding the design contract for the Miners Mesa roadway project to Baseline Engineering, Planning & Surveying in an amount not to exceed $131,482.00 was carried unanimously.
The meeting adjourned for an executive session at 3:12 p.m.
