LOCAL ARTISANS HISTORIC BUILDINGS CREATIVE SPACE

Sponsored by Gilpin County, with funds from the American Rescue Plan Act.

Gregory Plaza in Black Hawk has a new tenant. The Woodbury Collective is the first business to set up shop in the blue house at 327 Gregory Street. The owners are Lindsay Gianola and Sadie Schultz. Both partners have individual businesses and decided to combine them under the Woodbury Collective.

Lindsay owns Mountain Bound Pottery and Sadie owns the Spice and Tea Exchange in Idaho Springs. Sadie is a herbalist and a holistic practitioner. The partners gained access to the space in August 2021 and are holding soft openings until their Grand Opening in spring 2022.

Inspiration to open the Woodbury Collective came from the desire to build community and provide a space for artists and holistic practitioners to feel at home. Sadie stated there are minimal services available in the Gilpin area and feels there is a need for this type of business and to create a gathering space for the community.

The Woodbury Collective plans on featuring local artists and Colorado artists to sell their items and handmade products. Other plans include services like massage, reiki, acupuncture, chiropractic, meditation, nutritional counseling and herbalist services. They will be offering classes, workshops, community engagements and will host a free full moon circle each month.

The partners decided to call their business The Woodbury Collective based on the history of the relocated house they inhabit. The house was built in 1863 and was originally owned by Mayor Woodbury of Black Hawk. They wanted to honor the legacy and the name Woodbury seemed to be a good fit.

The partners are passionate about bringing the community together in a safe space where they can learn and grow. They are looking forward to a space with like-minded people who share a wellness and holistic lifestyle. Artisans can work on their art at the space and offer their gifts and talents. They can be found on Instagram at Woodbury Collective and will update their events and services.

The Woodbury Collective is located at 327 Gregory Street, Black Hawk, Colorado. For more information call 720- 608-8416 or go to www.thewoodbury collective.myshopify.com.
