Dear Editor,
Now that the dust has settled we wanted to thank all who came to the third 4th of July Barn Dance and Community Celebration and made it such a success.
We awarded the Gilpin County School music department a $1000 grant for new instruments and had a great time in the process. All traditions start somewhere, and we intend to make this one. That damned Covid stalled us but now we're back on track so save the date for next year 'cause we'll be back again next year and even better.
Thanks to all the great musicians, especially our terrific headliner Magoo. And special thanks to the volunteers who made our event happen: Rosanne Delaney, Julie and Ruby Gustafson, Sparrow Matheson, and Dave Puoul. We couldn't do it without you!!
See you next year,
Peak to Peak Music Education Association
