Our 1st Annual Peak to Peak Small Business Conference was a success! The theme was Helping Peak to Peak Businesses Succeed: Creating Community and Connecting Resources. forty small business owners and entrepreneurs invited from Allenspark to Black Hawk learned from the many speakers featured throughout the day.

Representatives from downtown Longmont shared tips on how their businesses learned to highlight their downtown and capitalize on the traffic already coming through.

The small rural town of Victor, CO also was featured for their hard work in helping their businesses work together to support a sustainable business environment in their small town. Both left attendees invigorated!

Local attorney, Shirin Chahal, helped attendees learn the legal ins and outs of creating a business. Local Financial Advisor, Dana Edwards, spoke about the small ways business owners and entrepreneurs can align their personal and professional financial goals. Sean Bryant taught important online skills and strategies covering SEO and Social Media Essentials.

There were two sessions on marketing, a complex topic especially in our Peak to Peak region. Another complex topic addressed was where and how to get financing for their small business.

Huge thanks to Katrina Harms for working tirelessly to bring this together for our Peak to Peak region!
