Dear Editor,
It is with a very heavy heart that I must announce that Mountain Paws Pet Care Fund is closing down.
We have not found volunteers who are willing to help us to meet our purpose. The community has been very supportive of us over the past 5 years. We have been able to help many furry family members because of that support.
This is a wonderful caring community but people have lives and can only stretch so far. We do have remaining funds and they will be distributed as our bylaws say: to a pet rescue or medically supportive non-profit.
