Starting Mountain Maidz LLC in 1994 with a friend, Nancy Reynolds has been locally known in the Nederland area for decades. She has lived in Gilpin County for over 30 years, cleaning houses, working in retail, art design, and baking as a pastry chef.
“A friend of mine and I started cleaning 30 years ago. She moved and I just kept cleaning!” Reynolds says, “We are known by many locals and are relied on by many of them for their cleaning needs….We do move-outs, one-time cleans, house cleanings, construction cleans, airbnb and vrbo cleanings. If something needs to be cleaned, we get it done!”
She adds, “Nothing gives us more satisfaction than going into a place that needs to be cleaned and walking out knowing that our clients are completely happy with our work!”
Reynolds works with her granddaughter, along with a few other part-timers on tap for busy periods.
“We work hard and have good ethics with wonderful people who all need help getting things cleaned,” she says, “and that keeps us going.”
Mountain Maidz covers the area from Ward to Black Hawk, “and the whole mountain area in between.” She adds, “We serve Boulder, too.”
They are locally trusted and detail-oriented in their work and love having happy clients.
Asked about the future of the company, Reynolds says “This company is going nowhere but up!! And quite quickly, with so much potential.”
