Deb Rice has had a few career changes in her life. She has worked in the criminal justice system and was a nurse before and during the pandemic. She is now the proud owner of a boutique style shop on Main Street in Central City, Colorado. Deb took over Mountain Heart Flowers and Gifts Gallery on September 1, 2021, from the owners who originated it in 2018.
The store features 27 artists from Colorado and offers a variety of classes. Many of the products are made by local artists. Deb took over the store because she enjoys working with the artists and customers and the ability to create every day. Her goal is to bring beauty to every home.
Deb plans on introducing new products in the future and is looking to introduce and expand products from current and new artists. She would also like to provide space for these artists to hold classes and interact with the community.
Mountain Heart Flowers and Gifts Gallery is located at 115 Main Street in Central City. The hours open are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Monday. For more information call 303-249-8131 or on Facebook.
