Dear Editor,
Normally, this is the time of year, we would see from our living room windows bumper to bumper traffic heading to Eldora.
Normally, we would see pedestrians crowding First Street and we would find it difficult to find a table or bar stool in the restaurants.
Normally we would see bikers riding through and noisy motorcycles speeding by in our small town of Ned.
Normally, it would really have bothered us compared to the quiet town we had become accustomed to.
But now, there is no traffic—only an occasional biker and once in a while, a noisy motorcycle. Our hearts break for our younger friends here—restaurant owners, waiters, waitresses, bartenders and merchants, etc.
Now we can’t wait for our little town to return to the normal congestion, noise and pedestrians, and seeing our friends again.
