Dear Mountain-Ear Staff,
My publisher, Lesli Bangert, wanted me to reach out to you. Enclosed is a check. It’s not much, but we wanted to help another small, independent newspaper out as you no doubt will lose some as revenue after the fire.
Tragedies like this usually bring a community together, and one of the ways that happens is through the local newspaper. Keep up the good work.
Yours in ink…
Matt Lubich
Editor/co-owner The Johnstown Breeze
