Keith began his real estate career in 2006. By 2008 he obtained his managing broker’s license and started KPK Realty. With the market crash in 2008 many agents could not survive in the industry so Keith learned how to perform short sales and helped hundreds of families avoid foreclosure.
With a lifetime of experience in residential construction that he learned from his father, his passion led him from building, designing, and remodeling homes to buying, selling and managing them. With the additional knowledge he learned from obtaining a mechanical engineering degree, Keith now shares this comprehensive knowledge with his clients to help them make the best decision concerning their real estate investment.
Keith began the property management side of KPK Realty in 2017. His wife Sarah has been in the property management industry since 2008, and by 2013 she was managing portfolios with 350 properties. This experience was the springboard for Keith to begin his property management business.
In June of 2020 Keith and Sarah decided to combine their talents and take KPK Realty and Property Management to the next level. Both strive to provide quality customer service through a reliable and friendly company with decades of combined experience. Because they are independent owners, they can offer a commission structure that is very competitive from the bigger companies in the region. Lower overhead and competitive commission allow their clients to elevate their profits.
Together they manage 32 properties for about 15 owners. They specialize in mountain properties, but also offer services across the Foothills and nearby Front Range. A majority of their business comes from referrals from current clients. Keith came up with the slogan for his company “Results Through Integrity” back in 2006 and it continues to be the foundation to help the business grow and succeed. Their goal is to maintain steady growth, but never grow too large where it will affect the level of service they now provide. As a family owned Gilpin County business they feel fortunate to be able to work from home and raise their daughter. Keith and Sarah both say “To live and work from home in this amazing County is a blessing”.
