NEDERLAND - Are you looking to improve your fitness, enhance your flexibility, and elevate your overall well-being? Look no further than Good Life Pilates.
This low-impact exercise method has taken the fitness world by storm, and for good reason. In our fast-paced world, we often forget to invest time in ourselves. But with practices like Pilates, we can work towards achieving “the good life.” Pilates is more than just a workout—it’s a holistic approach to fitness that balances body, mind, and spirit.
Current owner of Good Life Pilates LLC, Pamela Harrington, has been a teacher for over 15 years. She worked in physical therapy offices for her first three years and has taken many hours of continuing education with classical instructors from all over the world.
She is a Classical Pilates teacher, which is very different from those now working in new Pilates chain studios. She has over 750 hours of training, compared to the newer requirement of only 300 hours. She specializes in scoliosis and hypermobility disorders, as well as relieving back and neck pain. Harrington is especially interested in showing our small town what pilates is all about!
She previously owned and operated a trail riding business, but as a result of the need for back surgery she thought selling her business would be the best option for her health—not knowing that if she had been introduced to Pilates beforehand, she could have kept going on.
“I was hooked instantly” she says, after being enlightened with the idea of Pilates.
After opening Good Life Pilates LLC in April of 2009, she wants little but to show the world the greatness Pilates can achieve for you and your body.
Good Life Pilates LLC offers a full-service studio, classes, and private and semi-private sessions. She has chairs, reformers, and a mat and pole system available. Now that winter is here, she also offers a ski conditioning class on Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m. all throughout the winter.
Hoping also to grow on the equestrian side of things, she offers workshops specifically to accompany riders. In order to fly along you need only to take the reins, and what better way to do that than also to take rein on your own health!
Good Life Pilates LLC has clients from as far as Fort Lupton, Longmont, and Highlands Ranch, although most are locals from Nederland, Gilpin County, and Boulder.
Pamela Harrington is happy to be dedicating her time to helping people out of pain and changing their lives for the better. If you want the “good life,” be sure to book a session and educate yourself on the improvements Pilates can provide for your life.
