Dean DeRizzo has been a Colorado resident since 2007. He founded Dean’s Remodeling LLC & Handyman in 2018 in order to help serve his mountain community.
His background in home remodeling sales, including management and training, span over 20 years, during which time he became an expert in home improvement products - especially windows, flooring, and kitchen/bath remodels.
Upon moving to Colorado and with a few more years in sales, he became self-employed, using his knowledge and skills in home improvement by completely remodeling homes and rehabbing rentals throughout the Denver area over the next 4 years. This experience opened the door to creating his current business of remodeling and construction of homes in his beloved mountain community and providing handyman services. His full-time business partner, Chad Gray. joined him in 2020, and together they remodel homes in Boulder, Gilpin, and Jefferson counties.
His jurisdiction includes the Peak to Peak areas of Nederland to Black Hawk, and the Coal Creek and Golden Gate Canyon areas. Depending on the job, they will occasionally hire assistants; but primarily, DeRizzo and Gray are the experienced and knowledgeable folks you can count on for most remodeling needs. With integrity, honesty, and a fair price, they specialize in flooring, interior framing, kitchen & bath remodels, basic electrical and plumbing, small handyman projects, and decks.

When not busy with remodeling and handyman projects, DeRizzo is making gourmet meals at home, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife Lise & faithful rescued mutt, Cody.
