Experience matters in the Treasurer’s Office

Posted

Dear Editor,

I am proud to support Mary Lorenz for Gilpin County Treasurer.

Having worked with Mary, I have witnessed firsthand the knowledge, dedication and leadership she brings to the office. With 24 years of experience, Mary has developed a thorough understanding of the state statutes that govern the Treasurer’s Office and the responsibilities that come with serving Gilpin County.

But what stands out most to me is the way Mary leads and mentors her staff. She has created a knowledgeable, productive and educated team by encouraging her employees to learn, grow and take pride in their work.

Mary also understands that the Treasurer’s Office is about serving people, not just managing numbers. She expects excellent customer service from her staff, and she leads by example. Her encouragement has helped create an office where residents are treated with professionalism, respect and care.

I have learned a great deal from Mary, and I have seen her commitment to both her staff and the people of Gilpin County. Twenty-four years of experience, a strong knowledge of the laws governing the office, and a genuine commitment to public service make Mary Lorenz someone I am proud to support.

Gilpin County deserves experience, knowledge and dedicated service. Mary Lorenz brings all three.
