Dear Editor,
I am the Fire Adapted Communities Coordinator for the Boulder Watershed Collective. Last year, I was involved in a project for my Master’s capstone in which we worked on community engagement through workshops and interviews in Nederland ahead of the update to the Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP).
This year, planning for the CWPP is fully underway, and the Boulder Watershed Collective is leading the community engagement effort for it. We are hosting an informational meeting on July 31, at the Nederland Community Center (including a virtual option) from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
Please, spread the word! Thanks so much.
Kirin Riddell
