On 11/1/19, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a theft at the Z Casino. A suspect was located, money was recovered, and the suspect was charged with theft.

On 11/1/19, at approximately 7 p.m., an officer responded to a crash involving two cars on Highway 119 and Richman Street. The crash was moved from the roadway and only minor injuries were reported. An investigation was completed and a summons was issued.

On 11/2/19, officers responded to the Monarch Casino for a welfare check. The female party was transported by medics to the hospital.

On 11/2/19, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was seized, and a report was taken.

On 11/3/19, between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., a victim lost his cell phone at the Ameristar Casino and Hotel. The cell phone was left on a gaming machine. The victim reported the incident on November 4, 2019, at about 4:00 a.m., but decided not to file a case. Ameristar surveillance was able to identify a suspect that took the phone the next day. Ameristar Security found the victim and advised him of the new information. On November 4, 2019, at 11:30 p.m., an officer met with the victim and completed a police report. An attempt was made by the Lakewood Police Department to contact the suspect at her residence, but they received no answer.

On 11/4/19, at approximately 12:49 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino reference theft of property. A male suspect has been identified.

On 11/5/19, an officer received a phone report of lost property at the Ameristar Casino. A report was taken.

On 11/5/19, officers responded to the Isle Casino and Hotel on a report of a warrant pick-up. The suspect had a warrant out of Black Hawk. The casino had flagged the suspect’s account and notified police when he showed back up at the casino.

On 11/6/19, at approximately 11:45 p.m., an officer responded to The Ameristar Casino on a call of a disturbance. The male suspect left the scene prior to the officers arriving, a warrant was written for his arrest.

On 11/7/19, at approximately 6:05 a.m., officers contacted a party with an extraditable warrant at the Monarch Casino. The party was taken into custody and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 11/7/19, at approximately 10:14 p.m., officers observed a male party on Main and Richman Streets, who fell and hit his head on the curb. The medics were called and the party was taken to the hospital.

On 11/8/19, at approximately 1 a.m., officers were dispatched to the KMM garage in reference to a vehicle that had been broken into. A report was taken.

On 11/9/19, officers responded to the Lodge Casino to take a report on a disagreement between a patron and a Lodge worker. The suspect was not identified and no crime was committed. A report was taken for documentation purposes.

On 11/10/19, at 5:10 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino and Hotel Parking Garage level 1 on a report of damage to a vehicle. A rock had been thrown through the driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle. No items were taken from the interior of the vehicle. No suspects were identified.

 On 11/10/19, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of damaged property at the Lodge Casino. A suspect has been identified.

On 11/11/19, at approximately 12:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Richman Street and Highway 119 on reference of a non-injury vehicle accident.

On 11/12/19, officers responded to Bull Durham Casino on a report of a counterfeit $10 bill. An attempt to identify a suspect is being researched.

On 11/13/19, at approximately 2:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Sasquatch Casino on a reference of found drugs.

On 11/14/19, the reporting party in this case called the police department to report his wallet was lost and/or stolen at the Ameristar Casino last Saturday on 11/9/19. Investigation revealed the wallet was stolen and a female suspect was identified.

On 11/14/19, officers responded to the Z Casino on a report of a fraudulent $5.00 dollar bill. The person who had possession of the fraudulent money was identified.

On 11/15/19, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found property in the hotel. A firearm was found in one of the hotel rooms and was booked into evidence as found property.

On 11/15/19, an officer conducted a traffic stop and was notified that the male driver had a violation of a protection order and warrants for his arrest. The male party was placed into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 11/16/19, at approximately 5:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Mardi Gras Casino in reference to possible narcotics found on the property. A report was taken.

On 11/16/19, at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on the report of a counterfeit $50 bill that was passed. Officers spoke with the party who possessed it and the bill seized.

On 11/17/19, at approximately 1:17 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a possible assault. The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/17/19, at approximately 5:21 p.m., an officer responded to the area in front of Z Casino for an unconscious male who collapsed. Male was taken to the hospital by family.

On 11/17/19, at approximately 9:55 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on theft of a wallet. The wallet was later recovered and no items were missing from it. The owner of the wallet did not want to pursue charges.

On 11/18/19, at approximately 6:58 a.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino to assist medics with an unconscious party.

On 11/18/19, an officer contacted a party at the Monarch Casino. The party was found to have an active warrant and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 11/19/19, at approximately 8 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a reference of theft. There is no suspect information available.

On 11/20/19, an officer received a report of harassment at the Ameristar Hotel. Suspect was located and taken into custody.

On 11/21/19, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of damage to two vehicles that had occurred on Richman Street. A report was taken.

On 11/21/19, an officer responded to a one vehicle traffic accident and the information was taken for the report.

On 11/22/19, the Black Hawk Police Department contacted a party that was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The party was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 11/22/19, an officer responded to Selak Street on a report of a gate that was hit and damaged in a parking lot. A report was taken.

On 11/23/19, at about 6:30 a.m., the Black Hawk Police Department was called to investigate a traffic accident. During the investigation a party was identified as the suspect. The suspect was wanted out of the Denver Marshall’s Office for failure to appear on a traffic offense, bond $350. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 11/23/19, officers received a report of a missing adult. A report was taken and the person was entered in as a missing person.

On 11/23/19, at approximately 4:02 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a crash on Gregory Street. Medics were called for an injury and party was transported to the hospital.

On 11/23/19, at about 6:00 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a report of a counterfeit $20.00 bill at the Red Dolly Casino. The officer arrived on scene and met with security. A customer had used the ATM at the Red Dolly and received the fraudulent bill from the ATM. The customer attempted to use the bill at one of the gaming machines, but the bill was not accepted. Surveillance video was checked by security and confirmed the customer’s statement. The counterfeit bill was seized and booked into evidence.

On 11/24/19, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle driving with no headlights on Highway 119 approximately mile marker 6.5. Driver was driving under suspension and also had a warrant for his arrest. Warrant was issued out of Denver Marshall’s Office for failure to appear on traffic offenses. The driver was taken to Gilpin County Jail and issued a summons.

On 11/25/19, at approximately 10 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on reference of stolen property.

On 11/26/19, at approximately 4 p.m., Black Hawk Police Officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a stolen cell phone. Suspects were seen on surveillance footage taking the phone and leaving the area. No identifying information was obtained of the suspects. A report was taken.

On 11/26/19, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a physical disturbance. Two males were in an argument and one male punched the other male. The other male didn’t want charges pressed. One male was arrested on a warrant.

On 11/27/19, at about 2:30 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino and Hotel on an individual who had used two different identifications to attempt to enter the casino. The suspect was contacted and admitted to twice using two of his friend’s identifications to attempt to enter the casino. A municipal summons was issued to the suspect for false information.

On 11/28/19, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a request for assistance from the Division of Gaming and the Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office in dealing with a party who was attempting to flee.

On 11/29/19, a male party called the Black Hawk Police Department to report that someone had entered his vehicle and stolen items out of it while it was parked at the Lady Luck parking garage. A report was taken.

On 11/30/19, the Black Hawk Police Department took a report of property that was damaged by high winds in the area.

On 11/30/19, at approximately 3:40 p.m., officers were advised by the Ameristar Casino that there was a male party on property with a flagged account for a warrant pickup. Officers went to the Ameristar but were unable to get the subject to exit his hotel room. We were notified a while later the subject exited his hotel room and walked towards Main Street. With the help of Isle Casino surveillance technicians, officers were able to locate the subject and he was arrested for multiple warrants.
