Bedrock RC to open in Central City

Posted

Tim Fraccola has moved the outdoor RC track indoors. And he brought it to Central City, in hopes of offering families something to do that doesn’t involve gambling. He wants to provide fun for big and little kids. He hopes it will help people find a new hobby as well as drawing new people into Central City, for something different.

Fraccola has been in the metal fabrication business for years. He builds cages and accessories for offroad vehicles and UTVs. He got into rock crawling with RC cars and started fabricating to-scale semi trailers. He also has a background in heavy equipment operation.

The business will feature RC sales, service, and custom builds. The space also holds a dirt pit to demonstrate RC crawlers, including a dig pit for the RC construction equipment.

His favorite part of what he does? “Playing with RC cars, of course,” he laughs.

His plans include having RC cars available in the store for rent or purchase, and he expects to have an online presence as well. Fraccola can also get or make parts for anything.

He believes his is currently the only business in the United States with the ability to demonstrate the RC construction equipment. His business inside Mayor Willie’s will open as soon as he has all of the inventory he is waiting for. The supply chain has slowed everything down, but he anticipates an official opening in March or April.

Bedrock RC is located at 125 Main Street in Central City. Fraccola can be reached at 970-501-7843. You can also find him on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Bedrock-RC-Trucks-and- Equipment-113906524453744.
