Ante Up Café open for business

Posted

Cait Kontak is no stranger to the food service industry. She owned and operated a coffee and food truck in Breckenridge before coming to Central City. She brings over 10 years of experience and has worked in multiple coffee shops. She loves coffee, creating delicious homemade food, and she loves serving it to her customers.

Ante Up Café features burritos made from scratch, vegan and gluten free pastries, and Novo coffee.

Kontak loves meeting new people and serving the casino regulars that stop by. She loves serving out-of-towners and telling them about the small mountain town.

Besides the cafe items, Kontak sells her handmade goods and art in the space. She knits, crochets, creates macrame, and is into wood routing and metal art. She does custom work.

She mentioned that she is involved with the new Small Business group that met for the first time last week at the Ante Up. It consists of a few small business owners who got together to discuss ways that they can help each other and make the city even better.

Ante Up Café is located at 125 Main Street in Central City. She can be reached at 970-501-7842. You can also find them on their website at http://anteupcafe.com/, on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/anteupcafe or Instagram at anteupcafe.
