Angel’s Perfect Pasta

Posted

Angel O’Grady started her business, Angel’s Perfect Pasta, in August of 2021 when her husband bought her a pasta press for her birthday. She had been wanting to get out of the business she was in and to go in a new direction. She thought it would be a different type of business that was not up here in the mountains.

O’Grady makes a couple dozen different types and flavors of pasta. She says she loves the beetroot and spinach pastas, as well as the beef flavored. She also loves the savory pumpkin spice. She says her flavors make what she does different from others in the region. Rehashing traditional flavors and adding in new flavors is exciting. Making pasta is therapeutic. She finds a lot of joy in the process, making something others can enjoy. O’Grady also offers several sauce mixes and gluten free products.

She is working to get her products into the grocery store in Nederland and offers delivery to the Holistic Homestead in Gilpin County. She is working through a local commercial kitchen.

O’Grady hopes to bring her husband on board to help make the product and package it. And believes she will be able to hire help in the future, which will allow her to expand. She has only been in business for six months and thinks she will have it on more shelves across the Peak to Peak soon.

O’Grady also offers holiday gift baskets, as well as birthday baskets, Mothers Day baskets and more. She is also in the process of expanding to whole grain pasta, keto, and offering dinner bowls.
