SpookyGrass haunted house made its debut outside at the Gold Hill Inn on Halloween and Halloween Eve. This year’s theme of a bluegrass festival broken up by evil spirits featured a stage, campground, and zombie beer garden, infested with clowns, zombies and haunted dolls. The cast and crew were primarily volunteers who are musicians, programmers and students during normal daylight hours.
Several hundred humans attended and screamed across the two nights, and appear to have survived the experience. Bands Big Richard and Bonnie and Taylor Sims performed for the Halloween party inside. A spooky time was had by all.
On the second night, a key fog machine broke down, but a thick layer of natural fog rolled in to save the day - a Halloween-night miracle! SpookyGrass will be back in 2022, Halloween spirits willing. Stay in the loop at www.spookygrass.com and on facebook.com/ spookygrass.
Extra special thanks to Brian Finn and the entire staff of the Gold Hill Inn for making this event possible.
Andy Reiner and Joy Adams are the husband and wife team creators of SpookyGrass haunted house. They also created the Haunted Ferncliff house in 2020.
