SAGUACHE - A 70-year-old woman named Moe stood up in a cafe in Saguache, Colorado, put her hands on her hips and said, “I don’t know about you guys but I’m marching down Main Street on Saturday.”
Moe explained, “I’m going to publicly protest The Trump Administration policies. My grandson was born last week. I don’t want him to think I didn’t do my part to hand off our country to him in good shape.”
Moe inspired her small town neighbors who have been joining her every week for the past 12 weeks to wave signs on Hwy 285 next to the park in Saguache.
On May 1 Craig and I were a part of the protest. We could feel the power of the Saguache and Crestone people. We need to protest not only in our big cities but in our small towns … everywhere!
