Until you've sat beside a dog
You don't know what she wants
You don't know if she cries at night
You don't know if she don't
When nothing comes easy
Old nightmares are real
Until you've been beside a dog
You don't know how she feels
Once inside a doggie’s heart
A man must keep his head
Keepers open the kennel door
Where catlovers fear to tread
Some dogs go crazy
Some dogs go slow
Some dogs go just where they want
Some dogs never go
Oh, blame it on midnight
Ooh, shame on the moon…
