New Explorers Learning Center graduating class of 2022 celebrated with a skit “The Magical Toy Store” led by director Karen Campbell and assistant director, Lisa McCoy.
They showed off their Spanish as taught by Ms Liz, with a presentation including greetings and information about themselves such as where they live, how old they are, their parent’s names, and their favorite food; all spoken in complete sentences in Spanish.
They were awarded diplomas. They also showed the Cargo Connect First Lego League Discover project they worked on for most of the year and were awarded special certificates chosen and voted on by their classmates.
The celebration ended with “salsa” dancing led by Ms Liz and a potluck feast.
