Donna the Buffalo with We Dream Dawn will be providing your Saturday night mix of zydeco, cajun,old-time rhythms and electro folk pop, on November 23, 2019, at The Caribou Room. Donna the Buffalo has been touring the United States by bus since 1989 and is known as one of the “most dynamic and determined bands” because of that fact. Their name began as Dawn of the Buffalo, but was quickly misunderstood to be Donna the Buffalo, and has remained as such ever since. They draw their inspiration from the old-time music festivals of the south and the way these events brought towns and counties together to celebrate life through music. Playing year after year at festivals such as Merlefest, they have played along side the best artists, spanning many genres, and we never know what they might have up their sleeves for us!
