Cynthia D. Chambers, Peak to Peak.

As people swarm to Nederland this weekend for the best frozen festival around, they get more than just contests, costumes and coffin races. Local venues will be hosting music every night with tunes for every musical taste.
Highlights of the weekend include Part & Parcel playing at the Pioneer Inn for the Frozen Dead Guy’s Blue Ball After Party. Part & Parcel’s dynamic sound blends elements of funk, punk, folk, rock and bluegrass.
Salto’s line-up this weekend offers something with a twist, Friday night will feature Fists of the Proletariat, a Ska Band. Saturday they are offering the sweet grunge folk tunes of the J.W. Schuller Trio.
For the dub crowd, Ned’s will host the Frozen Dub Allstars, featuring Queen Slutiva on Friday night, with a Hip-Hop Open Mic on Saturday.
The Very Nice Brewing Company has a more subdued show planned for music lovers with acoustic singer songwriters Torbin Hadlock on Friday and Adam Hunt playing Saturday.
For a full line-up of the music planned by the festival, you can visit their website at https://frozendeadguydays.org/. Read below for detailed information about and scheduled music planned at local venues.
