On 5-1-18 at approximately 12:08 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle in the KMM garage level 3 for driving the wrong way in a one way lane. The male driver was arrested for driving under restraint.
On 5-1-18 officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a possible counterfeit twenty dollar bill. After further investigation, the bill was deemed counterfeit and seized for evidence.
On 5-1-18 at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers responded to the Black Hawk Police Department Lobby on the report of a vehicle trespass. There is no suspect information at this time.
On 5-2-18 at approximately 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male party in room 2311 unconscious, not breathing. One female party and one male party were transported to the Gilpin County Jail without incident.
On 5-3-18 an officer responded to the Bull Durham regarding a theft of wallet. Suspects were found and were issued a summons.
On 5-3-18 officers arrested a female on an outstanding warrant. Once at the jail methamphetamines and paraphernalia were found. The female was booked on the warrant and possession of a controlled substance.
On 5-3-18 officers responded to Crook’s Palace on a report of a suspicious person. Officers followed the party to the Bull Durham and contacted the male party who had a warrant. The party was arrested.
On 5-3-18 officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a party who attempted to gain access to the gaming floor with a possible fake ID. The party left the city prior to officers’ arrival.
On 5-4-18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an intoxicated party. The party agreed to leave the property with a sober party.
On 5-4-18 officers responded to the KMM Parking garage on the report of a broken vehicle window. No suspects have been identified.
On 5-4-18 officers responded to the Isle Hotel on the report of a possible death of a male party. CPR was unsuccessful, and the party was transported by the Coroner.
On 5-5-18 at approximately 8:20 p.m., an officer responded to Highway 119 and Richman on the report of an intoxicated party. The party was taken to the hospital.
On 5-5-18 at approximately 10:06 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of damaged property. There is suspect information.
On 5-6-18 at approximately 6:45 a.m., an officer responded to mile marker 3 on Highway 119 to assist a Gilpin County Deputy on a traffic stop. While on scene with the deputy, and per the deputy’s request, the officer interviewed the driver of the vehicle about involvement with the 17 year old female passenger he had in his vehicle. The driver showed the officer messages between the under age female and himself on his cell phone and the officer observed what would be considered criminal activity between the minor female and the driver. The officer seized the phone and placed him in custody. The male was transported to the jail per the deputy’s request. A report was taken.
On 5-6-18 at approximately 2:54 p.m., an officer was flagged down by a pedestrian who tripped and fell. The female was treated on scene by Gilpin Paramedics.
On 5-6-18 at approximately 8:40 a.m., officers took a phone report of a lost cell phone that took place at the Ameristar Casino. A report was taken.
On 5-8-18 at approximately 11:59 p.m., officers responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on a call of harassment. The suspect was identified and will be contacted.
On 5-7-18 at approximately 12:27 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The vehicle was towed due to having fictitious license plates.
On 5-7-18 at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Parking Garage on the report of a hit and run. There is suspect information.
On 5-7-18 at approximately 9:25 p.m., an officer initiated a traffic stop on Mill Street and Highway 119. The driver was issued a summons and released.
On 5-7-18 at approximately 10:29 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of parties consuming narcotics in a vehicle. A male party was arrested for driving under restraint.
On 5-8-18 at approximately 2:40 a.m., an officer responded with other officers for a disturbance at the 8042 bar at the Ameristar Casino.
On 5-9-18 officers were dispatched to look for a shoplifting party who had just stolen an item from the Wild Card Store and ran toward the Lodge Casino. Officers were unable to locate the suspect and a report was taken.
On 5-8-18 officers were dispatched to the Isle Hotel, room #565, on the report of a physical disturbance between a male and female party. After further investigation, the female party was arrested for Domestic Violence and Harassment and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 5-9-18 an officer responded to the Monarch Casino construction site regarding a theft that happened on 5-8-18. Suspects have been identified.
On 5-9-18 officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The counterfeit bill was collected, and a report was taken.
On 5-9-18 at approximately 10:36 p.m., officers responded to 240 Main Street room #330 on a reported possible fight in progress. The male was arrested for third degree assault (DV) and was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.
On 5-10-18 an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino on report of a stolen phone. There are no identifiable suspects at this time. A report was taken.
On 5-11-18 an officer responded to the KMM parking garage on a report of a traffic accident. The parties were contacted and exchanged information.
On 5-12-18 officers responded to Nederland to assist Boulder Police Department with an in-custody party. The party was taken by Black Hawk Officers to Gilpin County Jail for a warrant.
On 5-12-18 an officer responded to the Golden Mardi Gras Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. There is suspect information.
On 5-12-18 at approximately at 1:18 p.m., the Black Hawk City tramway bus asked for an Officer to respond to the Gilpin Casino bus stop to assist with an intoxicated passenger. Officers responded and made contact with the highly intoxicated individual. The male was deemed a harm to himself and others and he was taken to the Jefferson County Detox facility in Wheat Ridge Colorado.
On 5-13-18 an officer responded to the Z-Casino regarding a verbal disturbance. A male party and female party had a brief argument. They were later contacted and no crime was committed.
On 5-13-18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding a theft. Suspects have been identified.
On 5-14-18 at approximately 12:11 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a disturbance between a male and female. The male party was transported to Gilpin County Jail without incident.
On 5-14-18 an officer responded to the Golden Gulch Casino regarding a theft of jacket. A suspect has been identified and returned the jacket. The victim did not want to press charges.
On 5-15-18 The Isle Casino reported a counterfeit $100 bill. The person passing the bill was unsure were the bill came from. The case was forwarded to USSS.
On 5-16-18 at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage on the report of two parties consuming a controlled substance inside their vehicle. There is suspect information.
On 5-15-18 a party called the Black Hawk Police Department to report she had lost her Colorado driver’s license at some time during the day. A lost property report was completed.
On 5-15-18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding a welfare check. A male party was placed on a M-1 hold and taken to Lutheran Hospital by Gilpin County Ambulance.
On 5-15-18 at approximately 11:16 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a welfare check on a female party having a panic attack. The female party was transported to Gilpin County Jail without incident.
On 5-16-18 officers assisted Isle Casino security personnel with an ID check. The party in question had one felony extraditable warrant and a misdemeanor extraditable warrant. The party was booked into Gilpin County Jail.
On 5-17-18 at approximately 3:59 a.m., an officer found a stolen vehicle parked in the KMM garage. Three parties were identified and arrested on various charges.
On 5-17-18 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of found property, a possible controlled substance. The item was collected and booked into evidence for destruction.
On 5-17-18 an officer responded to the Black Hawk Fire Department for a report of a non-injury accident. The necessary paperwork was taken.
On 5-17-18 at approximately 5:06 p.m., officers responded to 240 Main Street on a report of an assault. A female was contacted and cited for harassment. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 5-18-18 at approximately 5:01 p.m., an officer responded to The Lady Luck Casino on a report of a stolen cell phone. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 5-19-18 Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on report of a 911 hang up verbal argument. One person was taken into custody.
On 5-19-18 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a theft. The property was recovered, returned to the victim, and the suspect was escorted off property.
On 5-19-18 at approximately 1:01 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a stolen vehicle.
On 5-19-18 an officer responded to the Z Casino for a vehicle hit and run incident. A report was taken.
On 5-19-18 officers stopped a vehicle with no taillights. The male driver was taken into custody for driving while revoked (habitual traffic offender) and was transported to Gilpin County Jail.
On 5-20-18 officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a female party who had felony warrants. The female was taken into custody.
On 5-21-18 at approximately 1:30 a.m., an officer was dispatched for emergent cover at mile marker 5.8 north highway 119 to assist Colorado State Patrol.
On 5-22-18 an officer completed a phone report of a lost Permanent Resident Card at the Ameristar Casino.
On 5-21-18 at approximately 2:30 p.m., an officer received a phone call from the Director of Human Resources at the Lodge Casino regarding an employee they were going to terminate for making threats to other employees. The suspect was identified, is known to carry weapons and has made several previous threats in the past. An investigation and report were completed.
On 5-21-18 an officer responded to the bus stop outside of the Golden Gates Casino regarding a male party not getting off the bus when asked. The male party was removed from the bus and issued a summons for disorderly conduct.
On 5-21-18 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a theft of money. A suspect has been identified and returned the money. The victim declined to press charges.
On 5-22-18 at approximately 2:56 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of lost property. The property was located and returned to the owner.
On 5-22-18 officers responded to the Z-Casino on the report of suspicious parties on property. The parties were contacted, identified, and released on a warning.
On 5-23-18 an officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the Lady Luck Casino parking garage. The vehicle was later found to be stolen and the suspect was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 5-23-18 at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a call of found drugs. There is no suspect. The drugs were booked in evidence for destruction.
On 5-24-18 an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of harassment. The suspect was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 5-25-18 an officer responded with other officers to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a wanted party who had barricaded themselves in a restroom when a Division of Gaming agent attempted to contact them. The party was eventually apprehended and transported to the Gilpin County Jail on various charges.
On 5-25-18 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a found firearm. The item was booked into evidence.
On 5-25-18 an officer was at the Lodge Casino and was advised of a female party who had left her identification card when she was contacted by security. The identification card was booked into evidence for safekeeping.
On 5-25-18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding a trespass. A suspect has been identified and issued a summons.
On 5-26-18 officers observed narcotics in an open vehicle parked at the Z-Casino. The narcotics were collected and verified to be cocaine. The vehicle owner was contacted and placed in custody.
On 5-26-18 an officer responded to the 100 block of Miners Mesa on the report of a wanted person. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 5-26-18 officers were dispatched to HWY 119 at MM 6 reference a traffic accident with unknown injuries. The act was found to be intentional and the driver was charged with DUI.
On 5-26-18 an officer responded to the Ameristar bus turn around on Richman St. regarding personal injuries on the bus. A report has been taken.
On 5-27-18 an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino regarding a disturbance. A suspect has been identified and was issued a summons.
On 5-27-18 an officer responded to the KMM Parking Garage for a hit and run incident. A suspect was identified and issued a summons.
On 5-27-18 at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of found drugs. A male and female were arrested and booked into Gilpin County Jail.
On 5-28-18 officers conducted a welfare check of a vehicle occupied with 2 people at KMM parking garage. One occupant was found to be wanted and was taken into custody.
