On 7-1-18 at approximately 7:05 a.m. an officer responded to mile marker 6.2 on Highway 119 on a report of a traffic accident.
On 7-1-18 an officer responded to the Monarch Casino for a disruptive patron. The party was found to have an active warrant and additional charges were incurred. The party was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 7-3-18 at approximately 11:15 p.m., an officer found a stolen motorcycle parked in the truck bed of a vehicle in the Isle Casino parking garage. A male and female party were arrested and booked into Gilpin County Jail.
On 7-2-18 at approximately 9:50 a.m., an officer responded to the Black Hawk City Shops parking lot on damage to a vehicle.
On 7-2-18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding lost property. A report was taken.
On 7-3-18 officers were dispatched to Bobtail and Miners Rd. on a possible motorist assist. Upon clearance of the male party on scene, he came back with an active warrant and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 7-3-18 an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a lost or stolen cell phone. A suspect was identified, located and arrested. The cell phone was recovered and will be returned to the owner.
On 7-3-18 at approximately 9:11 a.m., an officer responded to the Post Office on a report of a party yelling at people. The party was later arrested for outstanding warrants.
On 7-4-18 at approximately 3:30 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a stolen cell phone. There is suspect information.
On 7-4-18 an officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the Isle Casino parking garage. Upon contacting the driver and passenger, both had active warrants. Both suspects were arrested, and the male party was issued a municipal summons for trespassing.
On 7-4-18 an officer noticed a door open to a cabin on Dory Hill Road. The building was checked, no one was in the building. The owner was notified and stated no one had permission to be in the building.
On 7-4-18 an officer responded to Highway 119 and mile marker 5.2 to assist Colorado State Patrol. While leaving mile marker 5.2 to get back onto Highway 119, he reversed and backed into a street sign which caused minimum damage on the vehicle. A report was taken.
On 7-4-18 at approximately 7:41 p.m., officers responded to 488 Main Street on a report of found drugs. A male was contacted, and it was determined a baggie of cocaine had been dropped from his pocket. A male was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 7-4-18 an officer responded to the KMM parking garage regarding a domestic violence incident. The male party was identified as the primary aggressor and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 7-5-18 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a male urinating on the building. The suspected male was contacted, and a report was taken. The casino did not want to pursue charges.
On 7-5-18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft. A suspect has not been identified. The victim was arrested for an unrelated warrant.
On 7-5-18 an officer took a phone report of a hit and run traffic accident which had occurred in the Isle Casino parking garage. Information was gathered from reporting party. The suspect has not yet been identified.
On 7-5-18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino to assist a medical call. The victim stated he had injured himself with a needle found inside the bathroom toilet paper holder. Paramedics evaluated the victim, a spoon, and syringe were removed from the bathroom for destruction.
On 7-5-18 an officer responded to the Mardi Gras Casino regarding an intoxicated male unconscious on a bench. The male party was identified and was taken to detox.
On 7-5-18 at approximately 9:22 p.m., officers were contacted by telephone regarding a stolen wallet that occurred at 111 Richman Street. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 7-5-18 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of an injured juvenile in a hotel room. The juvenile was transported to the hospital.
On 7-6-18 officers responded to the Isle Casino regarding a verbal altercation that occurred at the Monarch Casino between a patron and employee. The patron was 86’d from the Monarch.

On 7-8-18 at approximately 10:55 hours, an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a counterfeit $10 bill that had been passed to the cash cage. A suspect was identified, and a report taken.
On 7-8-18 an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino for a reported lost wallet.
On 7-8-18 at approximately 11:35 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle on Mill Street and Highway 119 displaying fictitious license plates. The female driver was issued a summons and released.
On 7-9-18 an officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage on the report of a drunk driver that was aired as a REDDI report. The suspect was taken into custody.
On 7-9-18 while on routine patrol, an officer was conducting an area check of the KMM parking garage, 255 Main Street, and ran a license plate through CCIC/NCIC. The plate came back listing as stolen out of the City of Denver. The vehicle was cleared by VIN and it came back clear. The license plate was seized, and a report completed.
On 7-9-18 at approximately 10:48 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance that had been physical. An arrest was made for domestic violence and suspected cocaine was seized from the suspect in custody.
On 7-9-18 at approximately 9:11 a.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a stolen cell phone. A suspect was identified and will be contacted and charged.
On 7-9-18 at approximately 3:19 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino overflow parking lot on a report of a hit and run. Both the victim and suspect were contacted, and an informational report was completed.

On 7-11-18 at approximately 4:51 p.m., an officer responded to the 300 Block of Main Street on a report of damaged property. A shuttle bus damaged a city light pole and a report was completed.
On 7-11-18 at approximately 9:18 p.m., an officer responded to 340 Main Street on a call of a theft. The suspect has not been identified at this time.
On 7-12-18 at approximately 12:00 a.m., an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of a backpack found in a trashcan. Upon investigation, the owner of the backpack was identified, and he was the one that threw it away. The owner was contacted for a medical issue and he advised to throw the backpack away. The backpack was placed in safe keeping and a report taken.
On 7-12-18 an officer responded to Highway 119 and Richman St regarding a traffic accident. There were no injuries and the suspect was given a summons.

On 7-13-18 officers contacted a party at the Ameristar Casino for follow up to a previous case. The party was confirmed to have an extraditable felony warrant and was taken into custody.

On 7-13-18 officers responded to the intersection of Hwy 119 and Main St. on the report of a hit and run accident. The suspect was contacted and arrested for hit and run DUI.

The male party was identified and was asked to leave due to counting cards. The casino staff only wanted him to leave and served him with 86 paperwork. The male demanded a police report be done, so a report was taken.

On 7-15-18 an officer responded to the 300 block of Dory Hill Rd. for a stuck semi-truck. A tow truck was called, and a report taken.
On 7-15-18 at approximately 10:12 p.m., officers responded to 488 Main Street, the Monarch Casino on a call of a counterfeit bill. The Male suspect was contacted, and he believed he had acquired the money from the ATM.
On 7-15-18 at approximately 2:01 a.m., officers responded to 240 Main Street on a call of a counterfeit bill. The female suspect was contacted, and said she received the money as a tip from her restaurant.
On 7-16-18 officers were called to the Ameristar Casino on report of a trespassed party who refused to leave the property.
On 7-16-18 an officer took a report on damage to a city light pole in the 500 Block of Main Street. A large Penske truck was observed on video striking the light pole on 7-14-18. The case is under further investigation.
On 7-16-18 an officer took a report on two City Stop Signs which had been damaged in the 100 Block of Clear Creek Street. It is unknown when or how they were damaged. A report was taken.

On 7-18-18 an officer was dispatched to a single vehicle roll-over accident on Highway 119 at mile post 5.8. The suspect was issued summons for careless driving.

On 7-18-18 at approximately 10:34 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle not displaying license plates on Highway 119 and Mile Marker 6.0. A male driver was issued a summons and the vehicle was towed.
On 7-19-18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a criminal mischief which happened at approximately 11:45 p.m. on 7-18-18. A suspect has been identified and agreed to pay for the damages to the Ameristar Casino.

On 7-18-18 while on foot patrol, an officer was contacted by Sasquatch Security advising of a wallet that was turned in. The wallet was taken and booked into evidence for safekeeping.
On 7-19-18 an officer was dispatched to a property damage accident. Damage was done to the gate arm in the City Hall parking lot. There is no suspect information.

On 7-20-18 at approximately 11:10 a.m., an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino to seize a pouch of drugs from a team member who found it in the cross walk near the 100 Block of Gregory Street. A report was taken.
On 7-21-18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino parking garage on the report of a disturbance between a male and female. The male was arrested on an unrelated felony warrant and transported to Gilpin County Jail.
On 7-21-18 officers were conducting an area check of the Isle Casino parking lot. A suspicious party was contacted in his vehicle. During the investigation, the suspect was found with drugs and released pending charges.

On 7-22-18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding harassment. After investigation, both parties were asked to leave the casino.

On 7-23-18 at approximately 4:29 a.m., an officer responded to the Lodge Casino 240 Main Street on the report of found drugs. There is no suspect and the drugs were booked in for destruction.
On 7-23-18 an officer responded to the Monarch parking garage, level 2, to assist officers on scene. After further investigation, the party had lost his cell phone and was looking for it inside his vehicle. A report was taken.

On 7-24-18 at approximately 3:31 a.m., I responded to the Monarch Casino on a call of a found wallet. The owner was contacted, and the wallet was placed into safe keeping.
On 7-24-18 at approximately 11:51 a.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino to assist Colorado State Troopers on a traffic stop. Both occupant’s in the vehicle were arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 7-25-18 an officer was dispatched to KMM parking garage level 3, on the report of a broken window on a vehicle. The case is under further investigation.
On 7-26-18 an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Casino on the report of a counterfeit ten-dollar bill. After further investigation, the bill was seized and placed into evidence at the police department.
On 7-26-18 at approximately 4:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Richman Street and Highway 119 on the report of a motor vehicle accident.

On 7-31-18 officers responded to the Lady Luck Garage on the report of a party sleeping in the stairwell. After further investigation, the male party was arrested for two active warrants and possession of more than two ounces of marijuana. He was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
