On 7/1/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Lady Luck Hotel for a reported disturbance in progress. Upon arrival and investigation completion, two parties were separated and no charges were filed.

On 7/1/16 at approximately 3:35 a.m. Black Hawk police dispatch aired the descriptions of two individuals who were suspected of breaking into cars in Central City. An Officer made contact with both parties and a warrant arrest was made.

On 7/1/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a domestic disturbance. A report was made and a suspect was identified. The suspect was gone upon arrival.

On 7/1/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of female team member having been sexually assaulted by another team member on 6/26/16. Investigations were done and a suspect was identified. A report was taken and possible charges will be filed in the near future.

On 7/2/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino due to the theft of money. Upon investigation, suspect could not be identified.

On 7/2/16 an Officer responded to the Monarch Casino for a reported stolen cellular phone. Upon investigation completion, suspect cannot be identified at this time.

On 7/2/16 at approximately 11:00 p.m. a Sergeant responded to level five of the Ameristar Casino regarding a hit and run accident.

On 7/3/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino, on the report of theft of a motorcycle license plate. No suspect information was attainable.

On 7/3/16 at approximately 11:05 p.m. Officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a disturbance. The suspect was charged and released.

On 7/5/16 Officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill.  A suspect was contacted and released.  The case and counterfeit bill have been turned over to investigations.  

On 7/5/16 at approximately 6:15 a.m. a Sergeant responded to the Lady Luck hotel on a call of an argument in room 1244. The male suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Gilpin County Jail for a protection order violation.

On 7/6/16 at approximately 12:05 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the Canyon Casino valet on the report of suspicious activity.

On 7/6/16 an Officer took a phone report of a stolen license plate from a vehicle that occurred at the Lady Luck parking garage.  No suspects have been identified.   

On 7/6/16 at approximately 12:30 a.m. a stolen vehicle report was taken.  The vehicle was last seen at the Lady Luck parking garage level 7.  

On 7/7/16 an Officer was dispatched on a report of a stolen license plate from an employee's vehicle. The case is under investigation.

On 7/7/16 at approximately 10:05 p.m. Officers responded to Monarch Casino parking garage level 4 on a report of a hit and run vehicle damage. A report was taken regarding the incident.

On 7/8/16 an Officer responded to the Lodge Casino (240 Main Street), for a lost wallet, report was taken.

On 7/8/16 at 6:00 a.m. Officer Watson and Officer Metcalfe contacted a suspicious vehicle with two people inside of the Lady Luck Parking garage.  One of the parties was arrested on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

On 7/8/16 Officers were dispatched to Highway 119 and mile marker 6.7 on the report of a traffic accident with no injuries.

On 7/8/16 an Officer took a phone report regarding an incident which occurred between a male and female party on the fourth of July. Case is under further investigation.

On 7/9/16 while on a call at the Lady Luck Casino Hotel, Officers heard screaming coming from another hotel room. After further investigation, the male party was arrested for harassment and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/10/16 at approximately 9:15 a.m. an Officer responded to the Gilpin Casino on a report of found drugs.  The drugs were booked into evidence for destruction.

On 7/11/16 at approximately 1:15 p.m. a party walked into the police department to report possible abuse to a child.  

On 7/10/16 at approximately 4:15 p.m. officers responded to the Lady Luck parking garage on the report of damaged property.

On 7/10/16 at approximately 9:00 p.m. an Officer took a report of a stolen license plate. The incident occurred at the Lady Luck Garage and the investigation is ongoing.

On 7/11/16 at approximately 12:25 a.m. Officers responded to the Monarch Casino (488 Main Street), on a report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was seized and a report has been completed.

On 7/11/16 at approximately 1:25 a.m. an Officer conducted a welfare check on a male party in the Monarch parking garage.  The suspect was displaying altered temp tags on the vehicle and had a warrant for his arrest out of Adams County. He was booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/11/16 at approximately 1:25 a.m. Officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a party who had not returned home after work. The reporting party was concerned because the missing party had been harassed earlier in the day. The party was seen leaving the casino alive and well on surveillance.

On 7/11/16 at approximately 9:10 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on the report of harassment. A male party has been identified, contacted, and is cooperating with the investigation.

On 7/12/16 at approximately 10:20 a.m. an Officer took a phone report of a lost camera. The camera was lost between 7/6/16 and 7/8/16. The Officer was unable to determine when the camera was lost.

On 7/12/16 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Officers responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a stolen jacket. A suspect has not been identified.

On 7/12/16 at approximately 9:15 p.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Richman Street bus stop on the report of a "man down" being reported by a Gilpin County Deputy. Upon arrival, Gilpin County Deputies observed an intoxicated male laying on the ground partially in the street. The party was transported to the hospital by medics.

On 7/12/16 at approximately 9:25 p.m. an Officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was seized and booked into evidence.

On 7/13/16 at approximately 5:25 a.m. an Officer spoke with a female who said she had lost her wallet. The wallet was found in the ladies’ restroom and turned in to security. The wallet will be placed into safe keeping.  

On 7/13/16 at approximately 9:00 a.m. an Officer responded to Marchant Street on a call of a deceased male.

On 7/13/16 at approximately 1:00 p.m. Officers responded to 488 Main Street, the Monarch Casino parking garage on a call of damaged property. There is no suspect information.

On 7/14/16 an Officer contacted a party for violation of a court order at the Ameristar Casino.  Party was issued a summons and released.

On 7/14/16 Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle in the KMM parking garage. Two parties were arrested for several charges.

On 7/14/16 an Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Gregory Street, for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival and investigations, a male party was contacted and later released without charges based on investigation results.

On 7/15/16 Officers contacted a vehicle inside of the Lady Luck Casino parking garage.  A party was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On 7/15/16 at approximately 3:20 p.m. Officers responded to 131 Main Street (Canyon Casino) regarding a lost cell phone. A report was taken regarding the incident.

On 7/14/16 at approximately 6:00 p.m. Dispatch received a phone report regarding a lost or stolen driver’s license from a party who interviewed at the Lady Luck Casino.

On 7/16/16 an Officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for DUI and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/16/16 an Officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of an unattended death.

On 7/17/16 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Officers responded to the Z-Casino (101 Gregory Street), on a report of found drugs. A suspect was identified, placed into custody, and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/19/16 at approximately 1:20 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the Gilpin valet lot on the report of a hit and run accident.

On 7/20/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Bull Durham Casino, on the report of a found knife. The knife was seized and placed into safekeeping at the police department.

On 7/20/16 at approximately 4:05 p.m. an Officer responded to a lockout in the KMM garage.  The female who owned the car was with her husband who was restrained against her on a protection order. The male suspect was placed into custody and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/20/16 at approximately 5:20 p.m. an Officer took a phone report of someone having  possibly removed lug nuts from a vehicle in the parking garage of the Ameristar. The investigation is ongoing.

On 7/21/16 an Officer responded to the Canyon Casino on the report of a person excluded from the casino by the Gilpin County Court.  The party's name was on the court exclusion list and the information was forwarded to the county court for review.

On 7/22/16 Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino, on the report of suspicious activity. After further investigation, two parties were arrested for attempting to break into a vehicle and transported to Gilpin County Jail on multiple charges.

On 7/22/16 an Officer contacted a party at the Isle Casino hotel, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  The suspect was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/22/16 Officer responded to the Z Casino on the report of a hit and run traffic accident.  There is suspect information.  

On 7/23/16 at approximately 12:15 a.m. Officer Baca responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a lost cell phone. The cell phone has not been recovered.

On 07/23/16 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a disturbance. One of the parties involved was transported to detox.

On 7/23/16 at approximately 6:00 p.m. Officers responded to the Isle Casino’s guest safety office on a report of a found wallet. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 7/24/16 Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar casino on the report of a theft of cash. The suspect was contacted and the money was recovered and booked into safekeeping for the owner to collect.

On 7/25/16 Officers were dispatched to assist paramedics with an intoxicated party at the Wild Card Casino. The male party was placed into protective custody and transported to the Arapahoe House.

On 7/25/16 at approximately 6:15 p.m.  an Officer responded to a hit and run accident in the 300 Block of Main Street. A suspect was located through surveillance video, and issued a Municipal Summons.

On 7/26/16 at approximately Midnight an Officer stopped a vehicle displaying fictitious license plates, driving northbound on Highway 119 at MM 5.8. The driver was found to have methamphetamine on his person. He was placed into custody and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/26/16 at approximately 12:30 p.m. Officers responded to 111 Richman Street, the Ameristar Casino parking garage on a call of two people drinking in a vehicle. Both parties were arrested for protection order violation and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/26/16 at approximately 11:30 p.m. an Officer took a report of a missing person. The person has not been located.

On 7/27/16 at approximately 3:10 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on the report of a suicidal party. The party was taken into custody and transported to the hospital without incident.

On 7/27/16 at approximately 6:30 a.m. Officers noticed a silver Jeep Cherokee exit the KMM parking garage. The temporary tag was cleared and came back stolen. Officers tried to contact the suspect in the casino and he ran on foot. Officers were unable to identify him.

On 7/27/16 at approximately 11:30 p.m. an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Highway 119 and Mile Marker 5.7. A female passenger had a felony warrant and was placed into custody and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/28/16 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Officers responded to 340 Mail Street regarding a male who had an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the male was taken into custody for FTA traffic offense. The male was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/29/16 at approximately 2:25 a.m. Officers responded to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of a party who had passed 5 counterfeit bills. After further investigation the party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/29/16 at approximately 2:00 p.m. an Officer responded to Mardi Gras Casino on the report of a powdery substance. The substance was inside a white envelope in a stairwell. The substance was collected and booked into evidence for destruction.

On 7/30/16 Officers conducted a traffic stop at Highway 119 and Mill Street. After further investigation the driver was arrested for DUI and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/30/16 at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers were dispatched the Isle Casino on the report of a disturbance. While en-route a shuttle bus driver reported over the radio that the male suspect had stolen money from his tip jar as he got off the bus. The suspect also caused property damage to the Isle Casino. The male party was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County jail without incident.

On 7/30/16 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Officers responded to the Isle Hotel on the report of a disturbance. After further investigation, one of the parties was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/30/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino Hotel on the report of credit card fraud. The case is under investigation.

On 7/30/16 an Officer took a report for a pickup truck that had allegedly been stolen out of the Crooks parking lot (200 Gregory St). The reporting party later advised the truck was not stolen and was at his house.

On 7/30/16 Officers were dispatched to the Red Dolly Casino on the report of a stolen wallet. The wallet was not recovered. There is suspect information.

On 7/31/16 at approximately 1:20 a.m. Officers responded to The Lodge Casino on a report of a cell phone theft. A male was cited for theft and released. A report was completed regarding the incident.
