On 1/1/18 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of found narcotics. A female was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 1/1/18 an officer was dispatched to the Avenue of Allstars on the report of a hit and run accident. The case was investigated, and no suspect information was attainable. A Colorado State accident report was completed.

 

On 1/1/18 an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino on the report of a counterfeit five-dollar bill, with a suspect on scene. After further investigation, the bill was seized, and later placed into evidence at the police department.

 

On 1/1/18 at approximately 9:23 p.m., an officer responded to the KMM parking garage on the report of a hit and run crash that occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. A suspect vehicle was identified, and the investigation is ongoing to identify the driver. A report was made.

 

On 1/1/18 officers observed a vehicle driving southbound in the northbound lanes of Hwy 119. The vehicle was contacted, and the driver was arrested for DUI.

 

On 1/2/18 officers were advised of a REDDI report on a dark Jeep Cherokee driving northbound from MM 1 on Highway 119. An officer conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle at 401 Main Street. After further investigation, the driver was arrested for DUID, and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 1/2/18 an officer took a report of a theft of a cell phone at the Lodge Casino.

 

On 1/2/18 officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino referencing lost property.

 

On 1/2/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino for a stolen cell phone. A report was taken.

 

On 1/2/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of damaged property. The suspect was located and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 1/3/18 an officer was dispatched to a residence within the City of Black Hawk for a runaway juvenile.

 

On 1/3/18 officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino referencing a welfare check. The party was transported to Detox.

 

On 1/5/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a stolen vehicle, which was actually a case of harassment and theft. There is suspect information.

 

On 1/5/18 officers were dispatched to Hwy 119 at MM 0 regarding a REDDI report. The vehicle was later located/contacted within the City of Black Hawk.

 

On 1/7/18 at approximately 2:08 p.m., Black Hawk Police dispatch was notified by Adams County Sheriff’s Office of a possible suicidal party. An officer determined that the party was previously in the City of Black Hawk but had left several hours prior and traveled to Evergreen Colorado. A report was taken.

 

On 1/6/18 at approximately 8:09 p.m., officers responded to 488 Main Street on a report of a stolen cell phone. A report was completed regarding the incident.

 

On 1/6/18 at approximately 9:37 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a verbal disturbance. A male party was arrested on harassment charges, and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 1/7/18 an officer took a phone report from a party stating he left several items in his hotel room at the Ameristar Hotel.

 

On 1/7/18 an officer responded to the bus stop at the Canyon Casino for an intoxicated party. The party was transported to the hospital.

 

On 1/8/18 at approximately 4:16 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle in the 200 Block of Richman Street which was not displaying valid registration. The driver was issued a summons and the vehicle was towed.

 

On 1/8/18 at approximately 3:13 a.m., while on an area check in the Lady Luck parking garage, officers contacted a male party for an ordinance violation/welfare check. The male party was later transported to Gilpin County Jail for a misdemeanor warrant.

 

On 1/8/17 at approximately 11:08 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a party being harassed.

 

On 1/8/18 an officer was dispatched to room #1213 of the Ameristar Hotel, on the report of a gun found inside the safe. The pistol was seized and placed into safekeeping at the police department.

 

On 1/8/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a vehicle theft.

 

On 1/9/18 at approximately 7:27 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Main Street and Richman Street on the report of a party with a warrant. A female party was contacted and taken into custody.

 

On 1/10/18 at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a call of a male who was trespassing. The suspect was contacted, issued a municipal summons and escorted off of the property.

 

On 1/8/18 a female called to report a civil problem regarding storage of her property. A report was taken.

 

On 1/10/18 an officer was dispatched to Golden Gates Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. Suspect information was obtained.

 

On 1/10/18 an officer responded to the Sasquatch Casino regarding a forged check/theft. There is suspect information.

 

On 1/10/18 at approximately 11:39 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino on a report of theft of property.

 

On 1/11/18 at approximately 4:38 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino Hotel on a call of an assault. The male suspect was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County jail.

 

On 1/11/18 an officer was contacted at the BHPD regarding a theft to an at-risk adult. The suspect was taken into custody.

 

On 1/11/18 an officer responded to a call involving found drugs at the Isle Casino. Suspect was issued a summons for drug paraphernalia.

 

On 1/12/18 at approximately 1:38 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a theft. The suspect was not identified.

 

On 1/12/18 at approximately 4:21 a.m., an officer responded to the KMM parking garage on a stolen vehicle. The suspect was identified.

 

On 1/12/18 at approximately 9:35 a.m., an officer was called to the City of Black Hawk Public Works building located at 987 Miners Mesa Road on the report of a damaged tail light lens on one of the plow/sand trucks. Pictures were taken, and a report was taken.

 

On 1/12/18 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a cold accident at the KMM Parking Garage. A report was taken.

 

On 1/12/18 an officer was dispatched to contact an individual regarding theft from a vehicle. The suspect is a white or Hispanic male driving a silver colored Chevrolet Cruz 4 door. The suspect broke into a second vehicle before leaving the parking garage.

 

On 1/12/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft. There is suspect information.

 

On 1/13/18 an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a disturbance. The suspect was transported to the Gilpin County Jail for harassment.

 

On 1/13/18 an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. There is suspect information.

 

On 1/13/18 at approximately 1:15 p.m., an officer responded to the KMM Parking Garage on a report of suspicious activity.

 

On 1/13/18 at approximately 10:18 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of drug use in the parking garage. Two male parties were issued summons and released.

 

On 1/18/18 an officer investigated a suspicious message which had been sent to the CBS news channel regarding a bomb threat. There is suspect information and the case is active.

 

On 1/15/18 an officer checked on a vehicle parked in a parking garage. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Denver. The vehicle was impounded and there are no suspects.

 

On 1/15/18 at approximately 11:36 a.m., an officer responded to Main and Mill Street on a report of a hit and run accident.

 

On 1/15/18 officers were dispatched to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a counterfeit fifty-dollar bill, with a suspect on scene. After further investigation, the bill was seized and later placed into evidence at the police department.

 

On 1/15/18 officers were dispatched to KMM parking garage regarding a disturbance. No charges were pursued.

 

On 1/18/18 the Police Department received a threatening email directed toward police officers at 9:18 a.m.

 

On 1/18/18 at 4:22 p.m., officers responded to 111 Richman Street on a report of damaged property. A report was taken regarding the incident.

 

On 1/18/18 an officer took the report of an injury which had occurred at the Lodge Casino. The injured party had been transported to the hospital after falling outside.

 

On 1/19/18 officers conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 119 at Main Street. The occupant of the vehicle was found to be wanted and was taken into custody.

 

On 1/19/18 officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a party trespassing. The party was contacted and issued a summons.

 

On 1/19/18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a theft of property. Suspect info was obtained.

 

On 1/19/18 officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Main Street regarding an intoxicated party. The party was found to be wanted and was taken into custody.

 

On 1/20/18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar hotel regarding a disturbance. The suspect was taken into custody for Domestic Violence.

 

On 1/20/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for a reported cellular phone. The suspect was identified, and a report was taken.

 

On 1/20/18 at approximately 9:05 p.m., officers responded to 140 Chase Street on a missing person welfare check. A female party was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

 

On 1/20/18 an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of found drugs. A plastic baggie with an unknown white powder was collected and booked in for destruction. There was no suspect located.

 

On 1/21/18 at approximately 12:45 a.m., an officer stopped a truck for multiple traffic violations in the 5700 block of Highway 119. The driver was discovered to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 1/21/18 at approximately 2:45 p.m., an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of a counterfeit $5 bill. The bill was booked into evidence.

 

On 1/23/18 at approximately 4:17 a.m., officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop at approximately MM 4.5 on hwy 119. The vehicle was not displaying headlights and was weaving. The vehicle eluded the traffic stop and the pursuit was shut down at approximately MM 3 on highway 119. There is no suspect information at this time.

 

On 1/23/18 an officer responded to the intersection of Miners Mesa and Main Street for a motorist assist. The individual in the vehicle had a warrant and was taken into custody. The vehicle was towed to D&J tow yard.

 

On 1/23/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino for a report of lost property. A report was taken.

 

On 1/24/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft.

 

On 1/24/18 an officer received a call to the KMM garage regarding an intoxicated party. The party was taken into custody for DUI.

 

On 1/24/18 officers responded to the Monarch construction site on a reported burglary. There is limited suspect information.

 

On 1/24/18 at approximately 4:00 p.m., an officer received a report of lost property at the Black Hawk Police Department. The property was lost at the Lodge Casino. A report was taken.

 

On 1/24/18 at approximately 7:13 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Gilpin Casino regarding a stolen vehicle. A female party involved was later taken into custody.

 

On 1/24/18 an officer was contacted at the police station, regarding a call of harassment/witness intimidation. There is suspect information.

 

On 1/25/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding a theft which occurred at the Lady Luck Casino. The suspect has not yet been identified.

 

On 1/25/18 at approximately 8:21 p.m., an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a theft.

 

On 1/25/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on report of a disturbance. One person was taken into custody on a warrant.

 

On 1/26/18 an officer responded to the Monarch Casino for a wallet theft. The suspect was issued a summons and the property was returned to the victim.

 

On 1/27/18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance. The parties involved were separated.

 

On 1/27/18 an officer responded to a call at the Wild Card Casino regarding a theft. The suspect left the scene and was later identified.

 

On 1/27/18 an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a theft. There is suspect information.

 

On 1/28/18 at approximately 1:00 p.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a lost wallet. A report was taken.

 

On 1/28/18 at approximately 2:44 p.m., an officer responded to the Dory Hill Water Treatment Plant on a report of an accident.

 

On 1/29/18 officers were dispatched to Lady Luck Casino regarding found drugs. There is suspect information.

 

On 1/29/18 an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar parking garage level 6, on the report of a broken car window. The case is under investigation.

 

On 1/30/18 an officer was conducting a welfare check on a male found in the Lady Luck parking garage when he was advised of party with a warrant. A male was taken into custody.

 

On 1/30/18 at approximately 11:25 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an intoxicated party refusing to leave. The male party was transported to the bottom of the canyon by an Officer and released to a sober party.

 

On 1/31/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a criminal trespass of a motor vehicle. There is suspect information.
