Dear Peak to Peak neighbors,
There will be a food drive at Very Nice Brewery on November 7. I want to thank Susan and Jeff Green's generosity for always providing a great place for the community to gather. They are an asset to Gilpin Country.
The food drive will be a way to celebrate the joy of giving and sharing with a neighbor that might be experiencing food insecurity.
There will be light snacks and door prizes that have been donated by local businesses. It can be a family learning experience, let the kids choose something to put in the donation bag. Maybe they will choose their favorite soup, mac and cheese or Spaghetti O's, maybe a can of fruit.
If everybody that can, donates a little it will help a lot.
Especially appreciated items are spaghetti sauce, tuna and other canned meat, peanut butter, pasta dinners and personal care items. The pantry also accepts monetary donations.
Drop off donations from 3:30 - 6 p.m., at Very Nice Brewery, Jankowski Drive, Black Hawk, on November 7. Music by the Ohms starts at 5 p.m.
Hope to see you there.
Thanks in advance.
