Brussels sprouts are having their moment right now—they turn up in all kinds of recipes. Some people love them, some tolerate them, some hate them. I, alas, am one of the latter. But this recipe just might get me past the “no, thanks” stage. I haven’t tried it, but it’s so simple, how could you miss?
Ingredients:
2 cups Brussels sprouts, sliced in half
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons garlic powder
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Place Brussels sprouts in a bowl and toss with soy sauce, olive oil and garlic powder.
Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
This might be even better if you were to shave the sprouts into leaves. If so, cook for a much shorter period!
