On 9/2/16 at approximately 8:06 p.m. an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance. After investigations, it was determined that a domestic incident had occurred and a female was arrested.
On 9/3/16 at approximately 4:15 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the Canyon Casino on the report of a trespassing party on property. The party was no longer on scene when Officers arrived and the incident is currently being investigated.
On 9/3/16 at approximately 9:18 p.m. Officers were called to the Ameristar Casino regarding a male party who was trespassing. The male party was arrested, issued a municipal summons and released.
On 9/3/16 Officers were dispatched to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a party throwing feces. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for an active warrant and disturbing the peace. He was transported to the Gilpin County Jail on the listed charges.
On 9/3/16 Officers were notified via email of a party who had active warrants. The party was contacted inside the Bull Durham Casino and the warrants were confirmed. He was transported to the Gilpin County Jail on the two active warrants.
On 9/3/16 at approximately 6:34 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft of vehicle and other property. A male suspect has been identified.
On 9/3/16 an Officer responded to the 400 block of Main St. to assist Gilpin County on the report of a car traveling the wrong direction on Main St. The female party stated that the male in the car with her had punched her in the face and threatened her. The male suspect was later arrested at the Ameristar Casino and transported to the Gilpin County Jail without incident.
On 9/4/16 an Officer responded to the Lady Luck Hotel for a suicidal party. The party was located and transported.
On 9/4/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino, for an intoxicated party. Upon investigation completion, the party was found to be in violation of a protection order mandate and was issued a summons.
On 9/4/16 at approximately 3:48 p.m. Officers responded to 240 Main Street due to the report of a lost wallet. Lodge Casino Surveillance was unable to determine where and when the wallet was lost.
On 9/4/16 at approximately 7:07 p.m. an Officer responded to KMM garage on a report of a vehicle accident. A motorcycle had been struck and was found lying on its side. The suspect fled the scene and the case is under further investigation.
On 9/5/16 at approximately 12:23 a.m. an Officer stopped a vehicle displaying fictitious license plates. The female driver was issued a County Summons and the plates were seized.
On 9/5/16 at approximately 9:40 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Main Street. A female party was taken into custody for DWAI.
On 9/5/16 at approximately 11:05 p.m. Officers responded to a two car accident on Highway 119 at Mile Marker 6.3. There were no injuries and the driver at-fault was issued a summons.
On 9/6/16 at approximately 4:48 p.m. Officers took a phone report of a missing license plate. The license plate has not been located.
On 9/6/16 at approximately 11:40 p.m. Officers observed two motorcycles in the city of Black Hawk that had eluded officers a month prior. The parties were identified and arrested for warrants and additional charges.
On 9/7/16 at approximately 3:38 p.m. Officers were dispatched to 131 Main Street on the report of a personal injury. A report was taken.
On 9/7/16 at approximately 4:35 p.m. Officers responded to the City of Black Hawk Public Works building regarding damage to a city owned vehicle. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 9/8/16 at approximately 4:29 a.m. Officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a tip jar theft. A suspect has been identified and charges will be pursued.
On 9/9/16 at approximately 4:13 p.m. an Officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was seized and booked into evidence
On 9/8/16 an Officer contacted a juvenile male sitting on the side of the roadway on Main Street near Highway 119. The mother of the juvenile was found and she took control over her son prior to taking him home.
On 9/8/16 at approximately 6:36 p.m. Officers responded to The Canyon Casino parking lot regarding a vehicle that was vandalized. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 9/8/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill being passed at the main cash cage. A suspect was identified but no charges were made. A report was made after the bill was seized.
On 9/9/16 at approximately 1:57 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a party who had dropped a bag of narcotics on the gaming floor. The party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/10/16 at approximately 12:46 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a physical disturbance in progress. None of the parties involved wanted to pursue charges and the parties were separated.
On 9/10/16 Officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino on the report of a possible lost or stolen wallet. After further investigation, the wallet was located by security and returned to the reporting party. The reporting party was later transported by ambulance to St. Anthony's Central, due to her unknown physical intoxication state.
On 9/10/16 at approximately 6:41 p.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male party following a female party around, refusing to leave her alone. The male party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/10/16 at approximately 10:48 p.m. Officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of an intoxicated female, who had to get into her vehicle. The female party was transported to detox
On 9/11/16 at approximately 4:25 a.m. Officers responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on the report of an intoxicated party refusing to leave the property. The party was subsequently arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/11/16 at approximately 9:49 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the gazebo located on the corner of Black Hawk St. and Main St. on the report of a male party lying on a bench and groaning. The reporting party was unaware if this was a medical issue. The male party was transported to St. Anthony's hospital. A warrant will be issued for the male party's arrest.
On 9/13/16 Officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino on the report of a counterfeit one-hundred dollar bill and suspect on scene. The suspect was cleared and the bill was seized for evidence
On 9/13/16 Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a cell phone theft. The suspect was contacted and released.
On 9/14/16 at approximately 5:04 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance with an intoxicated party. The male party was released.
On 9/15/16 at approximately 1:30 a.m. an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of an intoxicated male driving erratically in the garage. Upon arrival the driver exited the garage at a high rate of speed and ran a red light. He was later arrested on charges of DUI.
On 9/15/16 at approximately 2:55 p.m. Officers were advised of a female party in Municipal Court who had a felony warrant. The warrant was confirmed and she was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/16/16 at approximately 1:20 a.m. A female party walked into the Police Department to report that her vehicle had been stolen from the Crooks parking lot.
On 9/16/16 an Officer responded to the call that a kidnapping was allegedly taking place at the Ameristar Casino. The suspected activities were found to be false.
On 9/16/16 Officer Metcalfe contacted a party in the 100 block of Main Street. The party was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was also charged with possessing drug paraphernalia.
On 9/16/16 Officer Metcalfe took the report of a hit and run traffic accident which had occurred at the Crooks Palace parking lot on 9/14/16. The suspect was identified and issued a summons.
On 9/17/16 at approximately 2:19 a.m. Officers were on an area check of the Lady Luck Parking Garage when they were flagged down by a male party reporting a disturbance. Through further investigation, no charges were filed.
On 9/17/16 at approximately 2:81 a.m. Officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of an intoxicated party. The male party was later taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail for an Extraditable warrant out of Aurora.
On 9/17/16 at approximately 5:49 a.m. officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino on the report of stolen property. A male party was later issued and released on a Municipal Summons.
On 9/17/16 Officer Hansen was driving through the self-parking area of the Canyon Casino and was flagged down by a Canyon Casino Staff member who reported a female in a vehicle who needed a welfare check. One party was arrested on a warrant and a report was taken.
On 9/18/16 at approximately 1:34 a.m. Officers conducted a welfare check in the KMM Garage with two parties sleeping in a vehicle. One male suspect was arrested on several outstanding warrants.
On 9/20/16 an Officer received a case in the mail from the Denver Police Department concerning a possible identity theft. After further investigation it was determined that it was a clerical error.
On 9/19/16 at approximately 1:08 a.m. an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of two male parties having stolen two liquor bottles from the Timberline Grill’s bar and were currently hiding across the street at the Richman house. Both male parties were released.
On 9/20/16 at approximately 2:31 p.m. an Officer responded to 240 The Lodge Casino on a call of a casino patron who was barely breathing.
On 9/20/16 at approximately 10:32 p.m. Officers observed a party at the Isle bus stop known to have warrants. The party was subsequently arrested on the warrant and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/21/16 at 6:47 p.m. Officers responded to The Golden Gates Casino on a reported assault. After speaking with the two involved parties, both parties declined to pursue criminal charges. Both parties were released. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 9/21/16 at approximately 10:26 p.m. Officers responded to a Lodge Casino hotel room # 329 on a reported assault. A male reported that his girlfriend had choked and punched him. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 9/22/16 at approximately 6:41 a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for fictitious number tabs. The driver was taken into custody on unrelated warrants and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/22/16 at approximately 5:13 p.m. an Officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of found drugs. A suspect was identified, arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/22/16 at approximately 11:02 p.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a party threatening casino staff. The victim did not want to pursue charges and the party was escorted off property.
On 9/23/16 at approximately 1:22 p.m. an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a party who ate at the buffet and did not pay.
On 9/24/16 at approximately 12:38 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an assault which had just occurred. The suspect had fled the area prior to officers arriving and the victim did not want to pursue charges.
On 9/24/16 Officers Hart and Davis were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino, level 6 of the parking garage, on the report of three parties smoking a controlled substance inside a vehicle. The parties were later contacted at KMM parking garage and were issued and released on a county summons. The vehicle was also towed, due to fictitious plates.
On 9/24/16 an Officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a counterfeit $100 bill that had been passed to the main cashier's cage. A suspect was identified and a report was taken.
On 9/25/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for a disturbance. Involved parties were located and refused to pursue charges.
On 9/25/16 an Officer responded to the 100 Block of Main Street to meet the city bus for a welfare check of a female who was intoxicated and unconscious. The intoxicated party was restrained from consuming alcoholic beverages and arrested for violation of protection order.
On 9/25/16 at approximately 11:43 an Officer stopped a vehicle on Highway 119. A male driver was issued a summons and a female passenger was booked into Gilpin County Jail for a warrant.
On 9/26/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage due to a vehicle trespass. An investigation was initiated and a report was taken.
On 9/26/16 an Officer was dispatched to a personal injury fall at 126 Main Street. The victim was treated by paramedics on scene and refused further treatment.
On 9/26/16 an Officer took an information report for a party who lost their wallet and several forms of identification. The report is inactive.
On 9/27/16 at approximately 5:24 p.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage on a report of an intoxicated male party driving a vehicle. The driver was stopped and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On 9/29/16 at approximately 4:07 a.m. Officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a possible vehicle break-in. A female was contacted and arrested for having narcotics and a warrant.
On 9/30/16 at approximately 5:40 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino parking garage on the report of a male and female party snorting a white powdery substance in their vehicle in the parking garage. The male suspect was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail without incident.
On 9/30/16 at 11:04 p.m. Officers were in the area of The Coyote Hotel when a witness advised that a male was spray painting a wall at the hotel. When the male was contacted he ran and was later contacted by the Gilpin County Sheriff south of the Coyote Hotel. The male was taken into custody for vandalism.
