On 10/1/18 an officer took a phone report of a lost or stolen cell phone which occurred on 9/28/18. The case is under further investigation.
On 10/1/18 at approximately 12:55 p.m., an officer was conducting a routine area check of the Lady Luck parking garage and came upon a female who was on the ground outside of a vehicle. Upon further investigation, narcotics and narcotic equipment was seized from the vehicle and multiple arrests were made.

On 10/2/18 at approximately 6:28 a.m., officers responded to Miners Road on a call of a disturbance. Upon arrival, two females who were fighting were contacted and it was determined that they are friends. Neither party wanted to press charges.
On 10/2/18 an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Parking Garage on the report of a hit and run accident. Suspect information was attainable, and a Colorado State Accident Report was completed. The case is under further investigation.
On 10/3/18 at approximately 4:20 a.m., officers responded to 401 Main Street on a call of a suicidal male. The male was transported to the hospital by the Gilpin medics on a mental health hold.
On 10/3/18 an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found marijuana inside a hotel room. The amount of marijuana found was a legal amount, and it was booked into evidence for destruction.
On 10/3/18 at approximately 5:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of recovered stolen property.
On 10/4/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a wallet theft. There is suspect information.
On 10/4/18 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a stolen cell phone. An unidentified female suspect was observed on surveillance taking the phone.
On 10/4/18 at approximately 9:33 a.m., an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of a party trespassing. The party was issued a summons for trespassing.
On 10/4/18 at approximately 12:57 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino, room #1810, on a welfare check.
On 10/4/18 officers were dispatched to Isle Casino regarding a physical disturbance. A domestic violence warrant was issued.
On 10/5/18 an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a verbal altercation. The issue was resolved, no crime was committed.
On 10/5/18 at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Main Street on a call of a verbal disturbance. The male party was arrested a short time later for domestic violence and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 10/5/18 at approximately 7:45 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of found drugs. Upon investigating who dropped the drugs, the officer identified a suspect. He contacted the suspect who gave further information regarding who he got the drugs from and the fact that there were more drugs inside of a hotel room. The officer located more drugs, which resulted in another arrest.
On 10/5/18 an officer was dispatched to the area of 240 Main Street on the report of a hit and run accident involving a vehicle and a sign. A Lodge Casino employee witnessed the accident and reported it. The case is under further investigation.
On 10/5/18 officers responded to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of a counterfeit 20-dollar bill. The bill was collected and booked into evidence.
On 10/6/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a hit and run. There is no suspect information at this time.
On 10/6/18 at approximately 10:07 a.m., officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male party at the Ameristar Casino. The party was later transported to a detox facility.
On 10/6/18 officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino regarding found paraphernalia. No suspect was identified. A report was taken.
On 10/6/18 officers stopped a vehicle which was called in as a REDDI report. The female driver had been drinking and a DUI investigation was completed. The female was arrested.
On 10/6/18 at approximately 11:11 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of a disturbance. All parties involved were released with a warning.
On 10/8/18 an officer responded to a damaged stop sign on Clear Creek Street and Hwy 119. This report came in from the Black Hawk Streets Department. No suspect was found.
On 10/8/18 Black Hawk officers responded to 101 Main Street regarding a counterfeit bill. The officers contacted the subject and could not obtain leading information. The counterfeit bill was taken for evidence.
On 10/8/18 at 8:19 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on highway 119, at mile maker 6. Only one motor vehicle was involved, and the driver was issued a summons.
On 10/9/18 officers responded to the KMM parking garage on the report of an animal left in a vehicle. The owner was located, and investigation determined that the animal was not left in the vehicle for an extended period of time.
On 10/10/18 an officer responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a wallet theft which happened on 10/9/18. The suspect was identified, and the wallet was returned to the owner.
On 10/10/18 a bag containing suspected drugs was found at the Ameristar Casino. A suspect could not be identified, and the drugs were booked for destruction.
On 10/11/18 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected, and a report taken.
On 10/11/18 officers located a male party with a warrant. The male was placed into custody without incident.
On 10/11/18 an officer was dispatched to the Wild Card Casino on reports of a female trying to cash checks that were not appearing to be real. A report was taken.
On 10/11/18 an officer took a phone report on a stolen cellphone. Another agency was contacted and unable to locate the phone. A report was taken.
On 10/11/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drugs. No suspects were identified. The officer seized the suspected drugs and booked them in for destruction.
On 10/12/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding a hit and run accident. The vehicles had minimal damage and the suspect has not yet been identified.
On 10/12/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a wallet found with possible drugs. The owner of the wallet was located and taken into custody.
On 10/12/18 officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the Isle Hotel. Officers learned there was a physical fight between a husband and wife. The female was the primary aggressor and was charged with assault.
10/13/18 officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The male party who passed the bill left the casino prior to officers’ arrival. The bill was collected, and a report taken.
On 10/13/18 an officer responded to the Black Hawk Police Department regarding a male party turning himself in on a warrant. The male party was identified and transported to the Gilpin County Jail on the warrant.
On 10/13/18 a party contacted the Black Hawk Police Department to report his wallet lost and fraudulent activity on his credit card. No suspect has been identified at this time.
On 10/13/18 at approximately 1:40 p.m. an officer took a phone report for a hit and run accident that occurred on 9/28/18.
On 10/13/18 officers responded to the Ameristar on the report of a damage to property. There is no suspect information.
On 10/14/18 an officer responded to the 500 block of Main Street regarding a vehicle in a ditch. The driver had no injuries and the vehicle was removed from the ditch. A report was taken.
On 10/15/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance. The suspect was taken into custody for assault and domestic violence.
On 10/15/18 at approximately 7:46 a.m., an officer was at the KMM Parking Garage and advised of people using drugs in a vehicle. One party was issued a summons and one party was arrested on a warrant.
On 10/15/18 at approximately 12:32 a.m., an officer responded to 401 Main Street on a report of a disturbance between a male and female. The male was arrested for assault in the second degree and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 10/15/18 an officer received an email from a party reporting a lost wallet in the 500 Block of Main Street, which occurred on 10/13/18. The officer called the reporting party and a report was taken.
On 10/15/18 at 3:00 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to 111 Richman Street regarding a sexual harassment report. Upon my arrival both suspect and victim where interviewed separately and no crime was founded.
On 10/16/18 an officer took a hit and run property damage accident report at the city maintenance shops. A vehicle struck the fenced area near the entrance to the maintenance shops and left the scene without reporting the damage. Case is under further investigation.
On 10/17/18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. After further investigation, the bill was deemed counterfeit and seized for evidence.
On 10/17/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a possible fake ID. The ID was determined to be real, however the owner of the ID was found to have outstanding warrants. The party was arrested and taken to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 10/17/18 at approximately 9:53 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill.
On 10/18/18 an officer took a phone report on a lost wallet which occurred on 10/18/2018. At approximately 4:17 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino guest safety on a report of found drugs.
After further testing the suspected drugs turned out to be salt. A report was completed.
On 10/19/18 officers responded to Ameristar Casino on the report of possible drug use in the parking garage. The vehicle left the garage prior to officers’ arrival and was not located.
On 10/19/18 at about 1:40 p.m., a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding a found firearm. The serial number was run and came back not on file. Several attempts were made to contact the owner who had already checked out. The firearm was taken back to the Police Department and placed for safe keeping.
On 10/19/18 at approximately 6:34 hours officers responded to the Ameristar Casino poker room on a report of a counterfeit bill. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 10/20/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a REDDI report. The driver was contacted and arrested for driving under the influence.
On 10/21/18 an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino regarding a cell phone theft. The phone was not retrieved, and the suspect has not yet been identified.
On 10/21/18 at approximately 12:20 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Parking Garage on a report of a hit and run accident.
On 10/21/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a lost cell phone. The cell phone was not found, and a report was taken.
On 10/22/18 an officer received a report of a civil issue at the Red Dolly Casino.
On 10/23/18 at approximately 12:29 p.m., officers responded to the area of the Lady Luck Casino on a report of a disturbance.
On 10/23/18 an officer was dispatched to the Monarch parking garage on a cold theft. No suspect information was attainable.
On 10/23/18 at approximately 8:49 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Main Street displaying fictitious license plates. A female driver was arrested and booked into Gilpin County Jail for additional drug charges.
On 10/23/18 at approximately 12:28 a.m., officers responded to 101 Gregory Street, the Z Casino on a theft of a cell phone. The suspect has been identified and will be contacted.
On 10/24/18 a report was taken regarding equipment stolen from the Monarch Casino construction site. No suspects have been identified.
On 10/25/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a party stuck by a syringe. The party was cleared by EMTs and the syringe collected for further testing.
On 10/25/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on reports of a possible hit and run accident. Information was collected and provided to both parties.
On 10/25/18 at approximately 6:17 p.m., officers responded to 111 Richman Street main bank on a report of a found wallet that contained possible drugs. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 10/25/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a stolen credit card. The male party could not be located, and a report was taken.
On 10/26/18 at approximately 2:00 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino regarding a theft. Upon arrival, they met with victim and were advised of suspect information. Then suspects were contacted and property that was taken was returned to victim. Suspects were permanently banned from the Saratoga Casino.
On 10/26/18 officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. A report was taken.
On 10/26/18 at approximately 9:19 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino regarding a theft. A male suspect was identified and issued a summons.
On 10/27/18 officers responded to the corner of Main Street and Mill Street on the report of two intoxicated parties. One of the parties was arrested on a violation of a protection order.
On 10/27/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino to assist the Department of Gaming on a fraud case. The male involved was detained until Department of Gaming officers arrived.
On 10/27/18 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of an intoxicated party. The male party was taken to detox then later transported to the hospital with a complaint of back spasms.
On 10/27/18 at about 9:00 a.m., a Black Hawk officer was driving Northbound on Main St. at about the 200 block, when a vehicle began to drift to the left side. The vehicle went up the curb and struck a construction fence, coming to a stop.
On 10/27/18 Black Hawk police investigated an accident at the parking lot on Church Street.
On 10/27/18 an officer responded to a verbal argument between a husband and wife. A report was taken.
On 10/27/18 officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino parking garage regarding a single vehicle, noninjury accident. The vehicle was unoccupied. A report was taken.
On 10/28/18 officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino regarding lost property. A report was taken.
On 10/28/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an intoxicated party who had hit staff. The male was released on a summons after a jail refusal.
On 10/28/18 officers responded to a non-injury accident at mile marker 8.0. The accident occurred at the KMM parking garage, and the driver was issued a summons.
On 10/28/18 at approximately 6:15 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival they spoke with both parties involved. After interviewing both subjects and looking at the surveillance footage, the male party was taken into custody.
On 10/28/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage, on a reported stolen vehicle. Upon investigation completion, vehicle was found not to be stolen. A report was taken.
On 10/29/18 officers responded to the Monarch Casino valet area on the report of two intoxicated male parties causing a disturbance. One of the parties was issued and released on a municipal summons for disturbing the peace and taken to Jefferson County Jail for detox.
On 10/29/18 at approximately 10:29 a.m., an officer responded to the Black Hawk Fire Department on a report of a traffic accident.
On 10/30/2018 Officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a flagged account. The male party was taken into custody on an active warrant and possession of a controlled substance.
On 10/30/18 an officer took a call on the report of a missing person. He was not registered in any local hotels, and a be on the look-out (BOLO) was sent to all casinos city wide.
On 10/31/18 at approximately 5:26 a.m., an officer responded to Highway 119 and Main Street on a call of a motorist assist. Upon arrival, officers discovered there was no one inside the vehicle. the vehicle was towed due to the safety hazard.
On 10/31/18 an officer was dispatched to the Monarch parking garage on the report of theft of construction parts. The case is under further investigation.
On 10/31/18 officers were advised of a damage to property report which occurred on 10/28/18. A male guest hit a slot machine and broke the monitor screen. The case is under investigation.
On 10/31/18 an officer responded to the Lady Luck hotel on the report of a robbery in progress. One of the suspects was apprehended at the scene and the other is at large.
