On 11/2/23, at approximately 6:58 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a theft. A male suspect was later located at the Bally's Casino and placed on a mental health hold.
On 11/3/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a request for a welfare check on a male party under blankets on a bench in Mountain Life Park. The party was contacted, found to be okay, and advised he could not sleep on the benches.
On 11/3/23, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle making an illegal U-turn at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was contacted and a warning was issued.
On 11/3/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino Hotel in regard to theft of a credit card. A report was taken.
On 11/3/23, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a party speeding on Richman Street. The party stated he was showing off his car to his girlfriend. He was given a warning.
On 11/4/23, at approximately 12:25 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a found drugs report at the Monarch Casino. The officer took possession of a white powder substance. The item was logged into evidence to be destroyed. There was no suspect information.
On 11/4/23, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino in reference to a trespassed party on property. A report was taken, and a summons was issued.
On 11/4/23, at approximately 3:58 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino in reference to a theft report. Dispatch advised that the suspect was seen going into room 3209 at the Ameristar Casino. Officers contacted the suspect and she returned the money without incident. Victim advised he did not want to press charges.
On 11/4/23, an officer conducted a welfare check on a male party laying on a bench inside the lower casino doors at Bally’s Casino. The male was just sleeping and was sent on his way.
On 11/4/23, a male party called the Black Hawk police department to report that his wallet was lost while he gambled at the Ameristar Casino. A report was taken.
On 11/4/23, an officer observed a vehicle run the stop sign that is newly located at the 100 block of Selak Street. I initiated a traffic stop and the driver was given a verbal warning.
On 11/4/23, an officer conducted a traffic stop at Main Street and Miners Road. The driver did not have his vehicle lights on. The driver was issued a warning.
On 11/4/23, Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at mile marker 5.8 on Highway 119. Officers contacted the driver and released them on a verbal warning for failure to obey a traffic control device.
On 11/4/23, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired plates. The driver did not have a driver's license and was advised to park the vehicle and have a party with a DL drive the vehicle home. The driver parked the vehicle at the Monarch garage and had a family member pick him up.
On 11/5/23, officers were assigned a lost property incident. A party had lost their phone. A report was taken.
On 11/5/23, officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted a male who reported he was elbowed by another male. The male victim did not want to press charges and was released. The female victim reported that her husband elbowed the other male and then punched her in the chest. Officers gathered suspect information and spoke to the suspect on the phone. The male was reported to be heavily intoxicated and stated he was already in the Denver Metro area. An after-hours emergency warrant was issued for the males for Assault in the Third Degree and Disorderly Conduct both with Domestic Violence enhancers.
On 11/5/23, at approximately 1:46 p.m., officers with the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of possible harassment. After speaking with both involved parties, there were no charges involved.
On 11/5/23, at approximately 11:03 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for excessive use of its horn at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 11/5/23, at approximately 11:11 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a fictitious temporary tag at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was issued a summons, the temporary tag was seized and a report was completed.
On 11/6/23, at approximately 12:02 p.m., Black Hawk police officers responded to the Bally's garage on the report of an underage gamer. Officers later obtained all relevant information for the Colorado Division of Gaming.
On 11/6/23, at approximately 4:11 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of fictitious temporary tags at Miners Road and Bobtail Road. The driver was issued a summons, the fictitious tag was seized and a report was completed.
On 11/6/23, an officer assisted the Colorado State Patrol in locating an aggressive driver at the Monarch Casino. The driver was located and issued a summons.
On 11/6/23, at approximately 4:25 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a phone report in regard to fraud. Dispatch advised that there is currently a scam going on where there have been multiple reporting parties advising that they had a voice message left on their phone informing them to contact Lieutenant Mike Taylor with the Black Hawk Police Report department. Currently, there are no lieutenants at the Black Hawk Police Department nor is there a person by the name of Mike Taylor that works here.
On 11/6/23, at approximately 9:06 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no license plates attached at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was issued a citation and a report was completed.
On 11/6/23, officers observed a vehicle bearing expired Colorado plates. Upon contact, it was discovered the driver had new Colorado plates in hand that were issued by the DMV and was on his way home to put them on. A warning was issued.
On 11/6/23, at approximately 9:38 p.m., a Black Hawk police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding. The officer later issued the driver a Gilpin County Summons.
On 11/6/23, at approximately 10:15 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding on the 400 Block of Main Street. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.
On 11/7/23, at approximately 11:19 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration on Miners Road and Main Street. The driver was given a warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 11/7/23, at approximately 2:21 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of intoxicated parties on the gaming floor that were refusing to leave and were causing property damage. Officers later caught the intoxicated parties and contacted Monarch for further information. Monarch employees advised there was no property damage and they wished to permanently trespass them. Officers later advised them they were permanently trespassed and could not come back. They were later released to a sober adult party to drive them home.
On 11/7/23, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to 488 the Monarch Casino on a report of found drugs. On 11/7/23, at approximately 8:56 p.m., a Black Hawk police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.
On 11/7/23, at approximately 9:03 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plate. The driver later placed his plate onto the rear of the windshield from the front and the officer released the driver with a verbal warning.
On 11/8/23, officers stopped a vehicle which failed to slow down in accordance with Colorado Move Over Law at 5312 Highway 119. The driver was issued a warning.
On 11/7/23, at approximately 11:17 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired license plates at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was issued a summons and a report was taken.
On 11/7/23, at 9:47 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Dory Hill Road to assist on a medical call. Officers cleared the assist and a report was taken.
On 11/8/23, officers assisted the Colorado State Patrol with effecting an arrest on an individual with an outstanding warrant at the 5300 block of Highway 119.
On 11/8/23, at approximately 3:12 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for following too closely on Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 11/8/23, at approximately 3:58 a.m, officers responded to the parking garage of the Ameristar Casino on a REDDI report. A driver was contacted and the report was determined to be unfounded. A field interview report was completed.
On 11/8/23, an officer responded to the Monarch Hotel for a civil issue. A report was taken.
On 11/8/23, officers with the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a theft of a jacket. The suspect was contacted and the property was returned. The victim did not want to press charges.
On 11/8/23, an officer responded to the Z Casino on the report of a party doing donuts in the parking lot.
The driver was given a warning and was told to leave the parking lot.
On 11/9/23, at approximately 4:05 a.m., officers were called to a report of two parties trespassing at the Horseshoe Casino. Both subjects were contacted and issued summonses. A report was completed.
On 11/9/23, the Black Hawk Police Department investigated a report of a possible assault that occurred during the weekend of October 20-22 at the Monarch Casino and at a home in Aurora, Colorado. An adult female suspect has been identified. The alleged incidents that occurred in Black Hawk do not appear to involve criminal activity. The case had also been reported to the Aurora Police Department and is under investigation to determine if any criminal conduct occurred in their jurisdiction.
On 11/9/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Ameristar Casino located at 111 Richman Street on the report of a trespassed party on property. An adult female was contacted and issued a summons to Gilpin County Courts.
On 11/9/23, an officer responded to the City of Black Hawk's fleet shop on the report of damaged property.
On 11/9/23, at approximately 6:09 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of an ordinance violation in reference to two parties selling jewelry. A male and female were contacted and released on a warning.
On 11/10/23, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino Hotel in regards to a domestic violence incident. An arrest was made and a report was taken.
On 11/10/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of an employee who had committed theft. Two male suspects have been identified.
On 11/10/23, at approximately 2:32 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on a report of a disturbance. The parties were checked on and were all okay inside the room.
On 11/10/23, at approximately 3:54 p.m., officers received a phone report regarding fraudulent activity having occurred at the Gilpin Casino in May of 2022. No suspects have been identified.
On 11/10/23, Black Hawk police officers were advised of a BOLO on a vehicle involved in a fraud case in Central City. Colorado Division of Gaming and Gilpin County Sheriff both were looking for the vehicle. Black Hawk officers located the vehicle at the Monarch Casino late on 11/10/23. Black Hawk police officers, Gilpin County deputies, and Colorado State Patrol Troopers contacted a male and female suspect. After further investigation, both parties involved were appropriately charged.
On 11/11/23, officers assisted the Colorado Division of Gaming in identifying a party who used another person's ID to claim a jackpot at the Horseshoe Casino. BHPD took a report of the incident and passed along contact information to CDOG.
On 11/11/23, officers took a phone report of a suspicious incident. A female party whose identity is still not confirmed reported that a male party whose identity is not confirmed took her money from her bank account. The female reported the male was her husband and that he also left her in Black Hawk. The female reported approximately $900 was missing from a bank account in her name that her husband has access to. The female was uncooperative with officers on the phone and expressed she wanted her husband arrested.
On 11/11/23, Black Hawk officers conducted an Evidentiary Breath Test to assist Gilpin County deputies with a DUI.
On 11/11/23, A male party contacted the Black Hawk Police Department to report that he had left his cell phone in a restroom and when he returned the phone could not be located. A report was taken, but no suspect has been identified.
On 11/11/23, officers responded to a report of a patron harassing the Crap Dealers and causing damage to the parking lot surface with oil at the Monarch Casino, located at 488 Main Street. A male suspect was contacted and issued a summons for the charges.
On 11/11/23, at approximately 11:34 a.m., officers received a phone report regarding a cold theft of property. A possible male suspect has been identified.
On 11/11/23, at approximately 3:26 p.m., officers observed a disturbance at the Dakota parking lot. Two male parties observed in a minor physical altercation were separated and released from the scene on a warning.
On 11/11/23, an officer responded to the St. Anthony Hospital on the report of a sexual assault that had occurred at the Ameristar Casino hotel. The case status is active.
On 11/11/23, officers responded to the Saratoga Casino regarding a welfare check. The party had to be
checked out by medics and then transported to the hospital.
On 11/12/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of one party threatening another. Officers contacted one male involved and stated the male sold him a fake bracelet approximately three weeks ago. The male that sold the bracelet tried to sell them a bracelet again and threatened the buyer. The buyer stated he did not want to press charges for threats.
On 11/12/23, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of four parties involved in a disturbance with two possible domestic violence issues. Gilpin and State assistance was requested and no additional help was available. BHPD officers contacted all parties involved and no DV charges were filed. One male was charged with obstruction and booked into jail on his warrants.
On 11/12/23, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino for a reported trespass. The involved party was located and escorted from the property. A report was taken.
On 11/12/23, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino for a trespass in progress. Suspect was located and issued a summons.
On 11/12/23, at approximately 5:30 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Casino in reference to a counterfeit $10 bill. The officer contacted the suspect and determined she had no knowledge that the bill was counterfeit.
On 11/12/23, officers stopped a vehicle that failed to give right away to another vehicle which was heading straight through an intersection at Main Street and Miners Road. The driver was given a warning.
On 11/12/23, at approximately 9:51 p.m., a Black Hawk police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.
On 11/12/23, at approximately 10:11 p.m., a Black Hawk police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.
On 11/13/23, at 1 a.m., the Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched to 401 Main Street (Horseshoe Casino) on the report of an intoxicated female guest refusing to leave the gaming floor. Upon arrival, the female refused to leave and was placed in custody and escorted off the floor by Black Hawk officers. Once off property, the female party was cited with trespassing and released to her fiance.
On 11/13/23, at approximately 1:30 a.m., while Black Hawk police officers were on an intoxicated party call at the Horseshoe Casino, the intoxicated party's purse was stolen with her money, wallet, and car keys inside of it. The suspect was identified and a description was aired however, officers were unable to locate her. Case will remain open pending investigation.
On 11/13/23, at approximately 2:04 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of someone selling jewelry. Officers later made contact with the party but denied ever selling jewelry and released the party.
On 11/13/23, at approximately 2:54 a.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a male party who stole a $500 dollar chip. Upon investigations, it was found that the male party who stole the chip mistook it as his and returned the chip to the victim.
On 11/13/23, an officer with the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of found drugs. A suspect was identified but has not yet been contacted or charged.
On 11/13/23, officers with the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Saratoga Garage to conduct a welfare check. The parties contacted had been involved in an inactive case from October so their information was obtained for officer follow-up.
On 11/13/23, at approximately 5:52 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Bally’s North Casino on a report of the theft. Dispatch advised that a suspect had stolen the tip box from the deli restaurant counter and was last seen behind the Lady Luck Casino. The officer was unable to locate the suspect.
On 11/13/23, at approximately 11:30 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Hotel on a report of a theft. A suspect was identified and some of the property was able to be recovered but the investigation is ongoing.
On 11/14/23, at approximately 2:43 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an obstructed license plate occurring at Main Street and Richman Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 11/14/23, at approximately 3:14 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an obstructed license plate occurring at Miners Road and Main Street. The driver was issued a summons and a report was completed.
On 11/14/23, an officer responded to the Ameristar Hotel for a trespass in progress. Suspect was located and issued a summons.
On 11/15/23, at approximately 1:37 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for careless driving occurring at Main Street and Gregory Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 11/15/23, an officer received a phone report of a theft incident at the Ameristar Casino. A report was taken. On 11/15/23, at approximately 11:25 a.m., officers responded to Black Hawk City Hall on the report of fraudulent activity. A suspicious transaction was discovered on a financial device. A suspect has not yet been identified.
On 11/15/23, an officer with the Black Hawk Police Department on a report of found drugs inside the restroom. No suspect was identified. The baggie was collected and booked into evidence for destruction.
On 11/15/23, a woman called the Black Hawk Police Department to report that her vehicle had sustained damage at the Ameristar or Monarch Casinos. A report was taken. A suspect has not been identified.
On 11/15/23, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers responded to 111 Richman Street on a report of a trespass. The suspect was contacted and issued a summons and then released.
On 11/15/23, at approximately 4:56 p.m., a Black Hawk police officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of found drugs. Upon further investigations, the officer was able to identify the suspect and wrote a summons.
On 11/15/23, a Black Hawk Police Department tablet was found on Lake Gulch Road and was damaged beyond repair. It was turned into the Black Hawk Police Department and turned in where a CIRSA report was filled.
On 11/16/23, the Lodge Casino reported a party that claimed to have information about planned criminal activity. A report was taken but no suspect has been identified.
On 11/16/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a verbal argument between two males. Officers contacted one male who reported that the other male threatened and pushed him. The other male stated he pushed him in a manner to direct him to go home. Due to the physical contact and the male reporting that he was annoyed by it, the male was issued a summons for harassment.
On 11/17/23, officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of a trespass. Officers have contacted the male party for trespassing multiple times. The party was charged with a second-degree burglary due to violating a written trespass notice and was booked into Gilpin County Jail.
On 11/17/23, a male party arrived at the police department to turn in a ring he found at the Monarch Casino.
On 11/17/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino parking garage on the report of a male party consuming alcohol and urinating in the parking garage. A male party was contacted and released.
On 11/17/23, at approximately 2:34 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a party refusing to leave the hotel. Upon arrival, the party left the room and was not trespassed from the casino. The suspect was allowed to stay on the property.
On 11/17/23, officers conducted a traffic stop at Hidden Treasures Trailhead. A summons was issued for no insurance and a verbal warning was given for failure to stop at a traffic light.
On 11/18/23, Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at mile marker 5 on Highway 119. The officer contacted the driver and released them on a verbal warning for failure to maintain lane and no lights.
On 11/18/23, at approximately 1:58 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a female party having received harassing text messages.
On 11/18/23, an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of a party stalking a female employee. A suspect was contacted and was trespassed from the property by the Horseshoe Casino.
On 11/18/23, at approximately 6:38 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of found drugs. A crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamines was recovered from the scene and booked into safekeeping for destruction.
On 11/18/23, an officer responded to the Ameristar Hotel lobby on the report of a male party not wearing a shirt and refusing to leave the property. The party was taken to the hospital on an M1 mental hold.
On 11/18/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a theft. A female Ameristar employee reported that a bag and items inside were stolen from her locker. The female reported the value at $200. There is no suspect information at this time.
On 11/19/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino to assist a Colorado State trooper in making an arrest. A report was taken.
On 11/19/23, an officer responded to a suspicious phone call at the Monarch Casino. A report was taken.
On 11/19/23, at approximately 8:57 a.m., officers were dispatched to Ameristar valet on a stolen vehicle and a valet attendant who was injured with the stolen vehicle. The valet attendant was treated and transported to the hospital. The suspect and vehicle were located in Boulder County at approximately 10 a.m. The suspect was arrested and later booked into the Gilpin County Jail. The vehicle was returned to the owner.
On 11/19/23, an officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage for a vehicle hit-and-run incident. A report was taken.
On 11/19/23, at approximately 11:01 a.m., an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino on a trespass call. The party was issued a trespass warning as they claimed they had not been previously trespassed. This call was cleared with an FI contact.
On 11/19/23, officers observed a vehicle with defective tail lights at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning to fix the tail lights.
On 11/19/23, at approximately 11:13 p.m., a Black Hawk police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was following too closely to him and speeding. The officer later discovered the driver had no driver's license and was issued a summons.
On 11/20/23, at approximately 12:14 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Lady Luck parking garage, located at 333 Main Street, on a report of private property damage. A report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
On 11/20/23, at approximately 8:02 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Wild Card Casino on a reported counterfeit $20 bill. Officers arrived on scene and took possession of the bill. The female suspect advised she had no idea it was fake.
On 11/20/23, at approximately 9:23 p.m., officers responded to Bally's North for an ID check. Officers were told the male was trying to make a cash withdrawal from a credit card with a different name. The pre-paid credit card belonged to the male party's friend who confirmed on the phone and by sending his picture ID that he gave permission.
On 11/21/23, at approximately 12:50 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of harassment. After investigation officers determined nothing criminal had occurred. A report was taken.
On 11/21/23, at approximately 2:42 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar on the report of possible domestic violence. Officers were able to identify the suspect and contact them but further investigations are needed.
On 11/21/23, at approximately 4:33 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of two intoxicated parties refusing to leave. Officers contacted the individuals who agreed to leave the property. Both parties were trespassed from the property and provided a courtesy transport to their residence. A field interview report was completed.
On 11/21/23, officers with the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Dakota Lot on a report of possible harassment. After speaking to both involved parties and reviewing the surveillance video, it was concluded a crime had not occurred.
On 11/21/23, at approximately 9:29 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for displaying an expired temporary permit at Highway 119 and Miners Road. The driver was issued a summons and a report was completed.
On 11/21/23, at approximately 11:18 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a disturbance. Officers assisted a female and male party with a civil issue and resolved it peacefully.
On 11/22/23, at approximately 1:38 a.m., officers were called to the Lodge Casino to check the welfare of an individual. The individual checked okay and an information report was completed.
On 11/22/23, an officer responded to the Horseshoe Hotel lobby for a disturbance in progress. Suspect was located and issued a summons.
On 11/22/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a male party who was seen laying on the sidewalk and not moving in the 200 block of Main Street. The male party had tripped while crossing the street and struck his head on the sidewalk.
On 11/22/23, at approximately 7:27 a.m., officers were dispatched to a suspicious male walking through the Dakota Lot breaking into cars. Officers contacted the male along with his friend. Surveillance video was reviewed and the males did not make entry into any vehicles or attempt to enter vehicles.
On 11/22/23, officers responded to a disturbance in a hotel room at the Ameristar Casino. A male was arrested for Domestic Violence and transported to jail.
On 11/22/23, at approximately 10:51 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for following too closely and speeding occurring at Gregory Street and Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 11/22/23, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 Block of Main Street. Officers contacted the driver and released them on a verbal warning for failure to obey a traffic control device.
On 11/23/23, at approximately 1:42 a.m., a Black Hawk police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding. The officer later released the driver with a summons.
On 11/23/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of an intoxicated male party who was refusing to leave the casino. The party was contacted and left voluntarily.
On 11/23/23, the Black Hawk Police Department was called to Main Street and Highway 119 intersection for a possible camping violation. Several tents were found on the hillside. One adult male fled on foot and the second was given a 72-hour notice to remove the camp from the area.
On 11/23/23, officers responded to a non-injury accident on Highway 119 at approximately mile marker 6. The accident involved three vehicles and a light pole was knocked down. A report was taken.
On 11/23/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a disturbance inside a hotel room. Officers contacted a male and female inside the room and investigated a possible domestic violence disturbance. No crime was committed but both parties were separated for the night.
On 11/23/23, officers responded to the Bally's parking garage in regards to a vehicle that had been broken into. A report was taken.
On 11/24/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino in regard to an intoxicated party. A report was taken.
On 11/24/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a female party who pulled a fire alarm. Officers contacted the female who was exhibiting signs of a mental health issue. Officers did not have enough evidence to place the female on an M1 or M.5. The Ameristar Casino trespassed the party and did not want to press charges. Officers gave the female a courtesy ride to a bus stop and gave her a bus ticket. She was also informed of the Jefferson County Center for Mental Health.
On 11/24/23, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill given to the main cage. A fifty-dollar counterfeit bill was confiscated.
On 11/24/23, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino in regard to a harassment incident. A report was taken.
On 11/24/23, officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of a male trespassing and acting aggressively toward staff. He was placed in protective custody due to his level of agitation and transported to Lutheran Hospital on a M 0.5 transport hold.
On 11/25/23, officers responded to Bally's North on a report of harassment. A dealer reported she received a text from a female party. The reporting party stated the female accused her of sleeping with a spouse. The dealer also reported that photos of her were taken by the female while at work.
On 11/25/23, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino in regard to a theft incident. A report was taken.
On 11/25/23, officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a wallet theft. A male was identified and issued a summons for the theft. The male had a warrant and was arrested and transported to Gilpin Jail on the warrant.
On 11/25/23, an officer responded to the Monarch Hotel on the report of a theft of a bracelet from The Monarch Spa. The minor who took the bracelet was given a warning. The merchandise was recovered and returned to casino staff.
On 11/25/23, Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop at mile marker 5.8 on Highway 119. Officers contacted the driver and issued them a verbal warning for careless driving and no lights.
On 11/26/23, officers conducted a traffic stop. The vehicle stopped at the north end open lot of Bally's East. The vehicle was stopped because the temporary tag was not visible when officers were behind it. Also, while the driver drove by one of the officers, it appeared that the driver was on their phone. A verbal warning was issued.
On 11/26/23, officers with the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a trespassed party on the property. The involved party was issued a Municipal summons.
On 11/26/23, an officer responded to the Monarch Hotel for a welfare check. A report was taken.
On 11/26/23, an officer with the Black Hawk Police Department took a phone report on a hit-and-run accident. The victim was contacted but there was no answer.

On 11/26/23, at approximately 10:12 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a disturbance. Nothing criminal was determined to have occurred and a party was transported to detox.
On 11/27/23, at approximately 11:49 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle with an expired plate at Main Street and Gregory Street. Upon stopping, the officers discovered the driver had a suspended license. The driver was cited for both items.
On 11/29/23, at approximately 6:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino in reference to a male who had a utility knife in his hand. The RP reported the male was not threatening anyone and was seated near the cigarette vending machine. Officers contacted the male who was dozing off seated near the vending machine. He was cooperative and advised he had lost all his money and was waiting for his dad to come pick him up.
On 11/30/23, at approximately 12:08 a.m., officers spotted a vehicle bearing a fictitious plate in the 6000 block of Highway 119. The driver was issued a summons and the plate was seized.
On 11/30/23, officers received a report of a domestic violence incident that occurred at the Red Dolly Casino. A suspect was arrested.
On 11/30/23, at approximately 1 a.m., the Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched on the report of a suspected theft. Upon arrival, it was determined that a theft did not occur and the suspected party was released with no action. Cleared with an FI contact.
On 11/30/23, at approximately 7:08 p.m., officers responded to the Bally’s Parking Garage on the report of a cold vehicle break-in. A suspect vehicle has been identified.
