On 3/1/20, a Black Hawk officer was advised of a possible domestic disturbance at the Lodge Casino. The officer conducted an investigation and a male party was arrested and taken to the Gilpin County Jail for domestic violence related charges. 

On 3/9/20, Black Hawk officers were advised of a possible trespass in the 100 block of Church St. A male suspect was issued a citation.

On 3/10/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of unlawful sexual contact. The investigation is ongoing.

On 3/11/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Coyote Hotel on a delayed report of a possible harassment.

On 3/12/20, an individual arrived at Black Hawk Police Department and made contact with officers regarding an active warrant. The warrant was verified and the subject taken into custody.

On 3/13/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of a theft at the Lodge Casino. A suspect was identified.

On 3/13/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a DUI. A suspect was arrested.

On 3/14/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a physical disturbance. One male was arrested for felony menacing.

On 3/14/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the KMM Parking Garage in the report of a stolen vehicle, and property damage. The vehicle was located and a summons was issued for the damage.

On 3/14/20, Black Hawk police chief observed two cars street racing on I-70 near Mile Marker 260. Colorado State Patrol was notified. One of the two cars was contacted and the driver was issued a citation for speed contest.

On 3/15/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding found drugs. Suspect had been identified and issued a summons.

On 3/15/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino for found drugs. A report taken.

On 3/17/20, Black Hawk officers responded to 261 Church St. on a report of an argument between roommates. Both parties were drinking and decided to go to sleep for the night.

On 3/18/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a residence on the report of a physical disturbance. The investigation is ongoing.

On 3/19/20, Black Hawk officers responded to Chase St. on a call of a suicidal party. Officers contacted the party who was reported as suicidal and she stated she was not going to harm herself.

On 3/20/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a theft that occurred at the Starbucks. There is suspect information.

On 3/23/20, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to a domestic assault in progress at the Black Hawk Station Casino. The officer arrived on scene with a fellow officer and contacted the victim, the suspect, and a witness at the scene. The suspect was arrested and charged with assault and harassment. The suspect was later booked and lodged at the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/23/20, a Black Hawk officer located a vehicle and the party inside was having a medical emergency. The party was transported to the hospital.

On 3/28/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Miner’s Mesa Parking Lot on a report of a cold burglary. The safe in the Ticket Building had been opened and $1290 had been taken. There was no sign of forced entry into the building or the safe.
