On 8/1/16 an Officer was dispatched to a two vehicle accident, at Highway 119 and Main Street. Upon investigation completion, both drivers received a summons for various violations.
On 8/1/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino on the report of Criminal Mischief, on level four of the parking garage. After further investigation, it appeared to be regarding a hit and run, property damage accident. Case is under further investigation.
On 8/1/16 at approximately 1:00 p.m. an Officer responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a counterfeit fifty-dollar bill.
On 8/1/16 at approximately 4:12 p.m. Officers received a phone report regarding a hit and run accident in the Ameristar parking garage. A male suspect has been identified.
On 8/3/16 at approximately 11:13 a.m. an Officer responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on a report of a party who had damaged a sign in the KMM Parking Garage.
On 8/3/16 at approximately 4:14 p.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a party inside a vehicle that did not belong to him.
On 8/3/16 at approximately 7:38 p.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was involved in a high speed pursuit in Clear Creek County and recovered after an accident. The investigation is ongoing.
On 8/4/16 at approximately 1:43 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of money stolen from a wallet. A suspect has been identified.
On 8/4/16 at approximately 4:15 p.m. an Officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of 3
counterfeit 20 dollar bills being passed to Lodge Casino employees. A suspect was identified, the bills were seized, and a report was taken.
On 8/4/16 at approximately 10:18 p.m. an Officer observed suspicious activity in the construction zone in the dirt lot next to Crooks parking lot in the 200 block of Gregory. An arrest was made for a warrant and a report was taken.
On 8/5/16 at approximately 6:02 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of stolen money. While enroute to the Ameristar, officers were informed that the suspect had ran from security. The suspect was apprehended and charged.
On 8/5/16 at approximately 8:30 a.m. an Officer responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a male party who had urinated off the balcony of the smoking patio. The party was located and issued a summons.
On 8/6/16 an Officer received a phone report from Golden Police Department regarding a domestic violence incident which had occurred in Black Hawk.
On 8/6/16 at approximately 3:06 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a physical altercation which had just occurred. One party was taken into custody on unrelated warrants and neither party wanted to pursue charges in relation to the altercation.
On 8/6/16 at approximately 5:25 p.m. an Officer responded to the Canyon Casino self-parking lot on the report of a non-injury hit and run crash. The suspect was contacted at another casino and was given a summons. A report was taken.
On 8/6/16 at approximately 8:38 p.m. Officers responded to the Mardi Gras Casino regarding a reported theft. The victim declined to pursue charges and the suspect was released on a warning. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 8/7/16 at approximately 4:48 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a physical disturbance, which had just occurred. Neither party wanted to pursue charges.
On 8/7/16 Officer Carstens was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino for possible theft of money. Upon further investigation the party who took the money was contacted and the property was returned.
On 8/8/16 at approximately 2:04 a.m. Officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel on the report of a disturbance in progress. After further investigation, it was determined that the female had struck the male and she was taken into custody. The female was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/9/16 at approximately 3:00 p.m. Black Hawk Officers took a report of an assault involving two females. The case is under investigation.
On 8/10/16 at approximately 12:12 a.m. an Officer observed a male party yelling obscenities in the middle of Highway 119 at Mile Marker 7.1. The male party was placed into protective custody and transported to Saint Anthony's Hospital due to intoxication. He was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.
On 8/10/16 at approximately 3:25 p.m. Black Hawk Officers responded to Crooks parking lot on a fight in progress. Two females were each issued a summons.
On 8/10/16 at approximately 10:18 p.m. Officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino Hotel on a reported fight. A female was involved in an assault with her husband. The male was arrested and charged with 3rd degree assault and domestic violence. He was transported to the Gilpin County Jail. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 8/11/16 at approximately 5:39 a.m. an Officer responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on a report of possible found drugs on the floor. The substance was collected and booked in to be destroyed.
On 8/12/16 at approximately 4:06 a.m. Officers responded to level 4 of the Ameristar garage on the report of a party using narcotics in a vehicle. Through further investigation, the narcotics were found and the party was taken into custody.
On 8/12/16 at approximately 10:23 a.m. an Officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a party causing a disturbance. One party involved was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
On 8/13/16 at approximately 11:13 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the Sasquatch Casino on the report of a disturbance. One female party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail on an Extraditable warrant out of Denver.
On 8/13/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance in the poker room. After further investigation it was discovered that the party had an active warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/13/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for a reported disturbance. Upon investigation completion, involved parties did not wish to pursue the issue or charges.
On 8/14/16 officers were dispatched to the Canyon Casino on the report of a couple smoking marijuana. After further investigation the two parties were issued and released on a county summons for smoking marijuana in a public area. One of the parties was also charged with harassment.
On 8/15/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage for a report of damage to a parked vehicle.
On 8/15/16 an Officer took a phone report at the police department regarding a vehicle having been broken into over the weekend. After further investigation, there was no suspect information obtainable.
On 8/15/16 at approximately 8:14 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a disturbance. Two parties were issued and released on a Municipal Summons.
On 8/16/16 at approximately 1:14 a.m. an Officer performed a welfare check on two parties in the Crooks Parking Lot. A female was found to be in violation of a mandatory protection order, for having contact with a male party she was with. She was booked into Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/16/16 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of lost property. After further investigation it was discovered that the female party was in possession of a stolen vehicle. She was subsequently arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/17/16 at approximately 2:32 p.m. Officers responded to the Canyon Casino self-parking lot on a welfare check. Officers cleared the party and she was on the municipal trespass list. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail for contempt of court.
On 8/18/16 at approximately 11:02 a.m. Officers responded to 125 Gregory Street on a call regarding an intoxicated male. The male was contacted and transported to detox.
On 8/18/16 at approximately 4:24 p.m. Officers responded to the Isle of Capri Casino guest safety office regarding a stolen motor cycle helmet. A report was taken regarding the incident.
On 8/18/16 at approximately 3:55 p.m. an Officer responded to the Canyon Casino on the report of a highly intoxicated male sitting on the bus bench outside of the front doors. Upon arrival, a male patron was taken into custody for a warrant but released to Arapaho House Detox for medical reasons.
On 8/19/16 at approximately 9:45 p.m. Officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a fight, which had just occurred. Through further investigation, the primary aggressor was identified and charged.
On 8/19/16 at approximately 1:33 a.m. an Officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage on the report of a male party smoking marijuana and driving a vehicle. The male party was arrested and released and transported to St. Anthony's Hospital by Gilpin County Medics.
On 8/20/16 at approximately 4:14 a.m. Officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel on the report of a disturbance. One party involved fled on foot and was later apprehended. The parties were separated and one party was charged.
On 8/20/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a found baggie with possible drugs inside. Upon further investigation, Officers arrested a suspect for possession of drugs and transported him to Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/20/16 at approximately 9:56 a.m. an Officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of counterfeit money. The money was seized and booked into evidence.
On 8/20/16 an Officer responded to the 200 block of Gregory Street on the report of a disturbance. A male party was arrested for a protection order violation and 3 active warrants.
On 8/21/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for found narcotics. Upon investigation completion, no suspect was identified and the item was marked for destruction.
On 8/21/16 an Officer responded to the Lodge Casino for a reported kidnapping. Upon investigation completion, it was determined that the call was unfounded.
On 8/21/16 at approximately 7:00 a.m. Officers responded to the Isle Casino parking garage on a call regarding a theft. Officers were unable to determine who stole the tailgate off of a pickup truck.
On 8/21/16 at approximately 5:50 p.m. Officers responded to the report of a disturbance at the Canyon Casino. The suspect was contacted and transported to the hospital due to his high level of intoxication.
On 8/21/16 at approximately 9:52 p.m. Officers responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of money dropped on the gaming floor. Another party had picked up the money and left. The party who picked up the money was identified.
On 8/22/16 at approximately 7:45 p.m. Officers were dispatched to an intoxicated party at the Red Dolly Casino. After further investigation the male party was transported for detox.
On 8/24/16 at approximately 3:22 p.m. Officers responded to the Isle Casino on a call of a theft. The suspects were identified and will be contacted.
On 8/25/16 at approximately 12:54 a.m. Officers performed a welfare check on two parties in a vehicle inside the KMM parking garage. Both parties were taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/25/16 at approximately 7:59 a.m. an Officer responded to Clear Creek Street on a report of a stop sign that had been knocked down.
On 8/26/16 at approximately 1:57 p.m. an Officer responded to the Canyon Casino on a report of a party acting strange. The party was later arrested on a warrant.
On 8/27/16 at approximately 9:49 a.m. an Officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a party who had presented a fake ID.
On 8/28/16 an Officer responded to the Saratoga Casino for a theft of money. Upon investigation completion, the suspect was located and issued a summons for the theft.
On 8/28/16 at approximately 7:29 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino on the report of a physical disturbance in progress. A male party was later taken into custody.
On 8/28/16 an Officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino for a counterfeit bill. The suspect was contacted and the bill was collected.
On 8/29/16 at approximately 12:30 a.m. Officers were dispatched to Highway 119 & Richman St. on the report of a Ramblin bus that had hit a pole. The driver was released.
On 8/29/16 at approximately 10:32 p.m. Officers were conducting an area check and came across a female in a vehicle parked on level 5. The female identified herself and had a warrant out of Black Hawk. She was arrested and booked into Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/30/16 an Officer responded to the Isle Hotel for a reported vehicle theft. Upon investigation completion, the vehicle was located and returned to the owner.
On 8/30/16 at approximately 3:08 a.m. Officers were investigating an auto theft when an unrelated female party approached and stated that she had a warrant out of Denver. She was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/31/16 damage was reported on a City of Black Hawk vehicle. A report was taken.
