On 9/1/19 at approximately 9:50 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar parking garage reference damaged property.
On 9/1/19, an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino regarding a lost wallet. Wallet was not retrieved and a report was taken.
On 9/2/19 at approximately 6:15 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of stolen property.
On 9/2/19, officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel for a possible medical situation. Upon further investigation, assault crimes were reported with the call. A report was taken.
On 9/3/19 at approximately 8:45 a.m., officers received a report of damage to city property.
On 9/3/19 at approximately 10:22 a.m., officers received a phone report to reference of stolen property.
On 9/4/19, officers responded to the Z Casino on the report of a flagged account. One male party was arrested on warrants.
On 9/5/19 at approximately 1:02 a.m., officers and Gilpin Ambulance responded to the Isle Casino on report of a party needing a medical evaluation.
On 9/5/19, officers responded to the Lady Luck parking lot on the report of an accident on private property. A report was taken, owner of vehicle hit has not contacted officer.
On 9/5/19 at approximately 4:34 a.m., officers performed a traffic stop at mile marker 5.5 on Hwy 119. The driver was placed in custody for multiple offenses.
On 9/5/19 at approximately 11:16 a.m., officers responded to an Ameristar Casino Hotel room on a report of found drugs in the room.
On 9/6/19, officers were flagged down by a pedestrian who stated his credit card was compromised. A report was taken and investigation is ongoing.
On 9/6/19 at approximately 11:51 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel on the report of a disturbance. Two parties were taken into custody.
On 9/7/19 at approximately 4:30 p.m., an officer responded to Highway 119 and Black Hawk St on the report of a two vehicle non injury accident. An investigation was completed and a summons completed.
On 9/7/19 at approximately 6:50 p.m., an officer responded to the area of the Ameristar Casino on the report of an intoxicated party leaving the garage in his vehicle. The officer was able to catch up to the suspected drunk driver and conducted a DUI investigation. The driver was arrested for suspected DUI and issued a summons and released. A report was taken.
On 9/8/19 at approximately 5:04 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop at mile marker 5.5 of Hwy 119. The male driver was taken into custody.
On 9/9/19 at 1:16 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino and Hotel on a stolen cell phone. After reviewing surveillance video, the officer was unable to determine who took the cell phone belonging to the victim. The victim’s wife called the phone, in an attempt to locate it, and an unknown male answered the phone.
On 9/11/19 at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the parking garage at the Monarch in reference to a non-injury accident.
On 9/11/19 at approximately 7:44 p.m., officer responded to 125 Gregory St on a call of found drugs. The drugs were found in the restroom and will be booked into evidence for destruction.
On 9/11/19, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of people smoking drugs in a vehicle. Upon arrival, a male ran from police and was later arrested for warrants. A female party was also arrested on a warrant.
On 9/12/19, an officer responded to the Crooks parking lot on the report of a hit and run accident. Case is under further investigation.
On 9/13/19, an officer responded to Highway 119 and Richman St regarding a welfare check. Male party was heavily intoxicated and was transported to a detox facility.
On 9/13/19, officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a theft. The male party who took the property was identified but had already left the scene.
On 9/13/19 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a party reported to be acting suspicious in the Saratoga valet garage. The party was found to be in possession of controlled substances and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/14/19 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Lodge Casino to assist the Colorado Division of Gaming on a report of a disturbance. A report was taken.
On 9/15/19 at 1:30 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a hit and run accident that had occurred at the Ameristar Hotel and Casino parking garage. The victim vehicle was struck by the suspect vehicle while attempting to exit the garage. Surveillance video captured the crash and a license plate was seen for the suspect vehicle. Suspect vehicle fled prior to police arrival.
On 9/15/19 at 3:30 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Z Casino Parking Lot on a report of a hit and run accident. The victim vehicle was struck in the rear and had damage to the rear bumper. The suspect vehicle was a white pickup truck. Z Casino Surveillance cameras were reviewed that next night and the truck was observed by Z Surveillance driving near the Century Casino. The Century Casino Surveillance was able to provide a license plate for the suspect truck.
On 9/16/19 at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Gilpin Casino in reference to a lost wallet. The wallet was not located and a report was taken.
On 9/17/19 at approximately 12:40 p.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of found drugs.
On 9/18/19 at approximately 3:44 p.m., officers were at the Carriage House parking garage on a motorist assist. The male party was cleared and came back with two warrants. He was transported to the Gilpin County Jail for the warrant.
On 9/19/19 at approximately 12:11 a.m., a party reported her cell phone missing at Sasquatch Casino. The phone was recovered.
On 9/19/19 at approximately 5:10 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male and female smoking in a vehicle. The male was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
On 9/20/19 at about 9:56 a.m., the Black Hawk Police Department contacted two parties in a vehicle in the KMM parking garage. One of the parties was violating a protection order and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/21/19 at approximately 2:21 a.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a disturbance. A male party was issued a citation and escorted off property.
On 9/21/19 at approximately 3:55 a.m., officers responding to mile marker 3.5 of Hwy 119 to assist Colorado State Patrol on a motor vehicle accident. A male driver was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
On 9/21/19 at approximately 4:44 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a theft. A male party was contacted and issued a citation. Stolen merchandise was returned to the casino.
On 9/22/19 officers were dispatched to the area of the Ameristar Casino on reports of a driver that was deemed intoxicated and is now driving. Party was located and arrested.
On 9/22/19 a woman reported that her cell phone had been taken from her. A suspect has been identified and a report was taken.
On 9/22/19 at approximately 5:49 p.m., an officer was dispatched to an assault with a deadly weapon. Victim was located and treated by medical, suspect has already left property. report was taken.
On 9/23/19 an officer responded to Highway 119 and Main Street on the report of a crash. It was determined a non contact vehicle was involved and did not stay on scene. There were no reported injuries. That party was located and issued a ticket. A report was taken.
On 09/24/19 officers were dispatched to a casino in reference to a theft. A suspect was charged with trespassing.
On 9/25/19 at approximately 12:47 a.m., officers responded to a theft of a purse at the Golden Gates Casino. The suspect was seen on surveillance and tracked to the Lodge Casino and then the Ameristar Casino. The purse was abandoned at the Lodge Casino but several other items were missing. The suspect was seen leaving the Ameristar Casino in a vehicle. The suspect was stopped and issued summons for theft. None of the missing items were located. The passenger in the vehicle had two outstanding warrants and was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 09/26/19 an officer was dispatched to the area of Level 4 of the Monarch Casino on reports to a vehicle that had lost control and hit the wall. No damage to the property was observed, however significant damage to the vehicle was seen. Report was generated.
On 9/27/19 at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a call of an intoxicated male refusing to leave. The male party was taken into protective custody and transported to the Arapahoe Crisis Center for detox.
On 9/28/19 at approximately 2:21 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of property damage to a hotel room. Casino personnel agreed not to pursue criminal charges and bill the damages to the room.
On 09/28/19 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a casino on a report of counterfeit money. A report was taken.
On 09/29/19, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a male party trying to use another person’s ID to get into a casino. Male party had been identified and issued a summons.
On 9/30/19 at approximately 8:15 a.m., a cell phone was reported stolen from the Wild Card Casino. Suspect information was located. Case still pending further investigation.
