On 3/04/2016 at approximately 1643 hours, an officer took a phone report of a stolen cell phone. A suspect has not been identified.
On 3/02/16 officers conducted a traffic stop which resulted in a DUI arrest.
On 2/29/16 at approximately 1131 hours, officers responded to 120 Main Street the Wild Card Casino on a call of a counterfeit bill. The suspect was contacted and the bill was sized and placed into evidence.
On 2/29/16 at approximately 1645 hours, Officers received a report of lost property.
On 2/29/16 at approximately 1648 hours, Officer Sayers took a phone report on a call of a lost wallet. Officer Sayers was unable to determine when or where the victim lost her wallet.
On 3/2/16 and officer responded to the Isle Hotel (401 Main Street), for a reported domestic assault. Upon investigation completion, a male party was taken into custody for the incident.
On 3/02/16 at approximately 1832 hours officers responded to the Gilpin Casino, on a report of a flagged account. The suspect had two warrants and was taken and booked into Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/02/16 at approximately 1814 hours, Officer Hodge responded to a report of a party who hit a light pole in the 300 block of Main St. The female driver was arrested for Driving under the Influence and Failing to leave the scene of an accident.
On 3/03/16 Officer Metcalfe completed a phone report regarding a hit and run traffic accident which had occurred at the Ameristar Casino parking garage on 03-25-2016. There is no suspect information.
On 3/03/16 Officer Metcalfe was contacted at the police station regarding a harassment. There is suspect information.
On 3/03/16 at approximately 1643 hours, Officer Baca responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a lost satchel. The satchel has not been recovered.
On 3/03/16 at approximately 2029 hours, Officer’s responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a stolen wallet. A suspect was identified, charged and the wallet was recovered.
On 3/04/16 at approximately 1329 hours, Officer B. Davis responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a stolen wallet.
On 3/5/16 at approximately approximately 0100 hours hours, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman Street) on the report of a stolen cell phone. A suspect immediately left the casino in a black Jeep and Officer Hansen was able to obtain a plate number through surveillance review. The name of the suspect is still unknown and a report was taken.
On 3/4/16 at approximately 2358 hours, I responded to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman St.) on the report of lost money. Upon further investigation, the patron seen picking up the cash was identified and contacted. The money was retrieved from the patron and the owner was advised. A report was taken.
On 3/6/16 an officer received a phone report of a theft, which occurred at the Gilpin Casino Valet parking area (126 Main Street). There is no identified suspect at this time.
On 3/06/16 an officer was dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino’s VIP lot, on the report of a hit & run accident. A Colorado State accident report was completed. No suspect was identified.
On 3/06/16 at approximately 1505 hours, Officer Baca was approached by a party requesting a ride to the hospital. Gilpin Ambulance Service transported the party to the hospital.
On 3/06/16 at approximately 1548 hours, Officer’s responded to the Sasquatch Casino on the report of a possible drug deal. One of the two parties involved was contacted, however due to lack of probable cause neither party was charged. Both parties were trespassed from the
On 3/06/16 at approximately 2215 hours, Officer Randall was dispatched to the Isle Casino on a report of theft of property. A male party was later issued and released on a summons.
On 3/7/16 an officer was dispatched to a welfare check, inside the KMM parking garage (255 Main Street). Party was located and transported.
