On 5/1/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a trespass. A male party was contacted and transported to the hospital by ambulance.

On 5/1/19 at approximately 2:08 p.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino construction site on a report of a stolen hammer drill.

On 5/1/19 at approximately 2:16 p.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of found drugs. The unknown substance was booked in to be destroyed.

On 5/2/19 at approximately 3:08 a.m., an officer took a phone report of a lost iPad.

On 5/2/19 at approximately 8:03 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino hotel on a report of two parties with warrants. A female was booked into Gilpin County Jail with additional drug charges.

On 5/3/19 at approximately 6:57 a.m., an officer responded to mile marker 6.4 on Highway 119 on a report of a single vehicle accident.

On 5/3/19 at 4:15 p.m., medics responded to a lady who fell crossing the intersection of Main Street and Richman Street. The lady sustained a split upper lip and complained of pain in her right knee. According to her husband, it appears as if she didn’t step high enough when attempting to step up onto the sidewalk.

On 5/3/19 officers responded to the Isle Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. The suspect has been identified. The bill was seized and booked into evidence.

On 5/4/19 at approximately 2:56 a.m., an officer responded to 111 the Ameristar Casino on a call of a disturbance in the hotel. The male suspect was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/4/19 at approximately 5:51 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a disturbance. No crime was observed, and a report was completed.

On 5/4/19 at approximately 6:27 p.m., officers responded to a deceased male located in his vehicle in the Isle Casino Parking Garage. The death did not appear to be suspicious and a report was completed.

On 5/4/19 officers responded to the Bull Durham Casino regarding a theft. A suspect has been identified and the item has been returned back to the victim. The victim did not want to press charges.

On 5/4/19 at approximately 6:17 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of found drugs. No suspects were identified, and the drugs were seized.

On 5/4/19 at 11:01 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Z Casino on a complaint of a counterfeit $20 bill. The bill was taken and placed into evidence at the Black Hawk Police Department.

On 5/4/19 at approximately 11:11 p.m., officers stopped a REDDI report in the 100 block of High Street. A female driver was placed into custody and booked into Gilpin County Jail for DUI.

On 5/4/19 at 11:59 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino for a male party suspected of having an active warrant. The party was cleared after further investigation due to mistaken identity.

On 5/5/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male party dropping drugs. After an investigation, a male party was arrested and transported to jail.

On 5/5/19 the Black Hawk Police Department, Division of Gaming and the Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a party consuming drugs who then attempted to flee from police. The party was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail. 

On 5/5/19 at approximately 4:34 p.m., officers responded to 240 Main Street on a report of a found counterfeit bill. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/6/19 an officer responded to the Isle Parking Garage for vehicle damage. 

On 5/6/19 an officer responded to the Monarch Casino for an intoxicated party. Officers transported the intoxicated party to detox.

On 5/6/19 officers were dispatched to a disturbance on the 16th floor of the Ameristar hotel. The investigation revealed that there was no disturbance at the hotel, but drug paraphernalia was discovered and taken for destruction. No charges were filed.

On 5/7/19 at approximately 2:04 a.m., officers responded to a report of a public disturbance on Main Street. The intoxicated female involved was taken to the hospital.

On 5/7/19 at approximately 11:30 a.m., an officer responded to the Lodge Casino on reports of possible found drugs. No drugs were located, however there was a large knife they wanted to get rid of. A report was taken.

On 5/7/19 at approximately 10:36 a.m., officers received a phone report regarding fraudulent activity. The investigation identified a suspect who was known to the victim. The victim decided not to pursue criminal charges.

On 5/7/19 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for an unconscious party who was not breathing. Upon arrival, CPR was performed until Gilpin Ambulance Authority arrived. Gilpin Ambulance then took over and continued treatment, but the party was deceased.

On 5/7/19 at approximately 8:59 p.m., officers responded to 101 Main Street parking garage on a report of a male who kicked a vehicle and caused damage to it. The male was contacted and cited for causing property damage.

On 5/8/19 at approximately 10:50 a.m., an officer was on residential patrol and noticed graffiti on a white board at Mountain Life Park.

On 5/8/19 at approximately 11:46 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding suspicious activity.

On 5/9/19 at approximately 4:46 a.m., officers responded to a suspicious person inside the Saratoga Casino. The female was walking in the hallways while the business was closed. The female entered through an open door and was unaware the casino was closed until an employee told her to come back at 9 a.m. A routine clearance revealed the female had an active warrant out of Jefferson County for a probation violation. She was transported to the Gilpin County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

On 5/3/19 a gift card from the Ameristar was left for an officer at the BHPD as thanks for assistance on a previous call. On 5/10/19 the card was returned to the Ameristar and credited to the patron’s account.

On 5/10/19 an officer took a telephone report of fraudulent activity at the Ameristar Casino. There is no suspect information.

On 5/10/19 officers responded to the 200 block of Richman Street regarding found property. The property was retrieved and booked into safekeeping.

On 5/11/19 while on foot patrol at the Lady Luck Casino, Black Hawk officers were advised of a fight in progress. Upon contact, the suspect was arrested and summoned into court.

On 5/11/19 officers met with a male party at the Ameristar Casino who was reporting a possible theft of a cell phone. Investigation determined no crime had been committed.

On 5/11/19 an officer responded to the Post Office regarding an accident. Insurance information was exchanged, pictures were taken, and a report was written.

On 5/11/19 at approximately 4:03 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino, level 2 of the parking garage on a report of a vehicle that had been broken into. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/11/19 at 10:21 p.m., officers responded to the Z Casino on a report of found drugs. After further investigation, the officer viewed surveillance and arrested a male suspect.

On 5/12/19 officers responded to a report of a recovered lost wallet that contained multiple identification cards that did not belong to the owner. The owner of the wallet was spoken to and he stated that he found the Colorado ID card down by the river and the two player’s cards were acquaintances of his. A report was taken to document this suspicious activity.

On 5/11/19 Black Hawk officers were dispatched to an intoxicated party on the gaming floor at the Ameristar Casino. The suspect was contacted and issued a summons.

On 5/12/19 at approximately 3:14 p.m., officers responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/12/19 an officer took a counter report for a lost wallet at the Black Hawk Police Department.

On 5/12/19 an officer responded to the Z-Casino regarding a theft of money. The money was not retrieved, and a suspect has not yet been identified. This is an ongoing investigation.

On 5/14/19 an officer was dispatched to take a report on a non-injury motor vehicle crash. A report taken and photos were taken.

On 5/13/19 at 3:25 p.m., officers took a phone report of vandalism to a vehicle that took place on 5/4/19. The vandalism occurred in the Isle Casino parking garage. A report was completed regarding the incident. 

On 5/13/19 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a lost cell phone. The cell phone has not yet been recovered.

On 5/14/19 at approximately 5:14 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino main cage on a report of lost property. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/16/19 officers responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a theft of property. The property has been returned and a suspect has been identified. The suspect was issued a summons.

On 5/16/19 at approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of someone starting a fire in the men’s restroom. The report is under further investigation.

On 5/17/19 at approximately 9:33 a.m., officers were dispatched to 200 Main Street on a report of a vehicle accident. The report was completed by the Black Hawk Police Department.

05/16/19 at approximately 10:46 p.m., a phone report came in to dispatch from the Ameristar Casino for property damage at the Ameristar valet parking area. The case is under further investigation.

On 5/17/19 at 9:51 p.m., dispatch received a phone report of a lost or stolen phone at the Ameristar Casino. Officers responded, no suspect was identified, and a report was completed.

On 5/17/19 at approximately 11:09 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a fight at the Lodge Casino. Upon arrival to the Lodge Casino, there were no victims or suspects located in the area.

On 5/18/19 at approximately 1 a.m., officers responded to a REDDI report leaving the Ameristar Casino. The vehicle was contacted in the 200 block of Main Street. The driver was deemed sober and issued a citation for unrelated offenses. The passenger was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant.

On 5/18/19 at approximately 2 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to a call at the Saratoga Casino regarding a disturbance. After proper investigation, no crime had been committed, but a report was written for documentation purpose.

On 5/18/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of the theft of a vest. On scene, the victim indicated she left her vest on the back of the slot machine chair and an unknown suspect stole it. Surveillance revealed a male suspect that had already left the casino property. Follow-up investigation revealed the name and address of the suspect, contact is being attempted. The case remains open.

On 5/18/19 an officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino on reports of found drugs. A report was taken.

On 5/18/19 a party contacted the Black Hawk Police Department to report that someone had entered his vehicle, caused damage and took paperwork. A report was taken. No suspects were identified.

On 5/18/19 at approximately 3:56 p.m., officers responded to the fifth level of the Ameristar Casino on a report of a hit and run accident. The party was contacted and issued a summons.

On 5/18/19 an officer took a theft report at the Lady Luck Casino. A suspect was contacted, and the money was recovered and returned to the victim. A report was taken.

On 5/18/19 an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino regarding a theft. The property was not returned, and the suspect was not identified.

On 5/19/19 officers responded to the 500 Block of Chase Street on the report of suspicious activity. No criminal activity was found.

On 5/19/19 at 3:01 a.m., a vehicle was driving without a front passenger tire. The vehicle was driving on the rim and it was sparking as it drove down Highway 119. A traffic stop was conducted, and the female driver was ultimately arrested on the charge of DUI.

On 5/19/19 officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino on reports of a verbal disturbance. A report was completed.

On 5/19/19 an officer noticed a garage door down at 600 Chase Street. The officer took photos of the area and generated a report. 

On 5/20/19 at approximately 12:30 a.m., while conducting a walk-through, a Black Hawk officer was stopped by a patron who stated her phone had been stolen. After surveillance review, it was determined that the phone had been taken, but no suspect information was obtained. 

On 5/20/19 officers were dispatched to a male party that “put his hands on” two employees from the Mardi Gras. The male was believed to be intoxicated and left the area. Officers conducted a traffic stop and the male was determined to be sober, however, he had a suspended driver’s license. The Casino did not wish to pursue charges of assault and/or harassment, just wanted him off property. The male was cited and released on the charge of driving under suspension.

On 5/20/19 an officer was dispatched to a disturbance at the Lady Luck Casino on reports of a disturbance. One party was taken into custody and a report was generated.

On 5/20/19 an officer responded to the Sasquatch Casino for a stolen cell phone. A report was taken.

On 5/20/19 at approximately 9:04 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of harassment. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/21/19 at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers responded to 111 Hillside Street on a report of criminal mischief to property. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/22/19 at approximately 5:03 p.m., an officer responded to a missing person report at the Black Hawk Police Department. The party was found safe.

On 5/22/19 at approximately 11:59 p.m., an officer responded to 111 Richman Street on a call of a disturbance. The female party was arrested for domestic violence and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/23/18 at approximately 2:40 p.m., an officer responded to Richman Street and Highway 119 on a report of a non-injury traffic accident. A report was taken, and a summons was issued.

On 5/23/19 at approximately 10:41 hours, officers responded to Spring Street and Gregory Street, in Central City on a call of a domestic disturbance. A female party was arrested and charged with harassment (DV).

On 5/24/19 officers responded to the 6000 block of Highway 119 on a report of a two car non-injury accident. The responsible vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 119 and lost control on black ice. The responsible vehicle jumped the median and struck the victim vehicle, which was traveling in the opposite direction, causing the vehicle to slam into the guard rail. No injuries occurred.

On 5/24/19 at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers were called to the Monarch Casino for possible counterfeit $1 bills. After further investigation, officers could not be sure if the bills were counterfeit. The bills were taken and booked into evidence for further investigation.

On 5/25/19 an officer was dispatched to the Lady Luck overflow parking lot for a suspicious person living in the area and someone was throwing trash at her vehicle. A report was taken.

On 5/25/19 an officer responded to the Black Hawk Police Department regarding a male party finding a driver’s license. The license was booked into evidence for safekeeping.

On 5/25/19 at approximately 10:45 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 6000 block of Highway 119 without any taillights. A traffic stop was conducted, and it was determined that the vehicle had fictitious license plates attached, the driver’s license was cancelled/denied for an unpaid ticket and there was no insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle’s plates were removed and booked into evidence and the driver was cited for all above charges.

On 5/25/19 at approximately 11:15 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Wild Card Casino regarding a harassment. No suspect was confirmed, but a business card with the case number was issued to the victim for reference.

On 5/26/19 at approximately 1:37 a.m., officers responded to the Sasquatch Casino on the report of a juvenile being left in the arcade. The parents were located and reunited.

On 5/26/19 at approximately 1:30 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a fight in progress. Upon contacting and interviewing all persons involved, no party wanted to pursue charges.

On 5/27/19 an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on reports of a counterfeit $50 bill. The bill was examined and determined to be such. The bill was taken into custody and a report was generated.

On 5/27/19 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on reports of a stolen purse. The purse was recovered and returned to the owner. The suspect was taken into custody.

On 5/27/19 an officer responded to the Black Hawk Police Department for a phone report of a lost phone. The phone was not found, and a report was taken.

On 5/27/19 officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of people attempting to sell jewelry. A summons was issued to the three parties for not having the required license.

On 5/27/19 an officer was dispatched to the area of the Ameristar Casino where a report of a stolen phone occurred. The suspect was contacted and issued a summons for theft. The phone was recovered, and a report was generated.

On 5/27/19 at 9:57 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a reported disturbance. It was determined that there was no disturbance. A report was completed regarding the theft of a wallet.

On 5/27/19 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino for a criminal tampering incident.  A report was taken.

On 5/27/19 an officer responded to the Ameristar garage for a minor vehicle accident. A report was taken.

On 5/27/19 Black Hawk Officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. Upon arrival, contact was made with suspect. The counterfeit bill was taken, and a business card with the case number was issued.

On 5/28/19 an officer was flagged down for damage to a vehicle. Photos were taken and a report was completed.

On 5/28/19 at approximately 12:45 p.m., officers received a phone report regarding stolen property.

On 5/29/19 at approximately 7:41 p.m., officers were called to the Isle Casino for a possible counterfeit $100 bill. After further investigation, officers confiscated the counterfeit bill and booked it into evidence.

On 5/29/19 at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to 300 Miners Mesa Road on a report of property damage. Upon arrival, officers were informed by witnesses that a tractor trailer backed into the sign while trying to make a U-turn. A suspect was found and issued a summons.

On 5/29/19 at approximately 7:39 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck self-parking area on a report of a male party acting erratic in a vehicle. The male was arrested on drug charges and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/29/19 at approximately 11:12 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a call of a male attempting to break into a vehicle. The male was contacted, arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/30/19 at approximately 11:11 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of money that was dropped then picked up by someone else.

On 5/30/19 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a theft. A suspect has been identified.

On 5/31/19 at approximately 1:36 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a welfare check. A male party was transported by medics to the hospital.

On 5/31/19 the Black Hawk Police Department contacted a party for a welfare check after he was observed exhibiting strange behavior at the Monarch Casino. The party was transported to the hospital.

On 5/31/19 officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a theft. A suspect has been identified and issued a summons.

On 5/31/19 at approximately 3:35 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino for a call of criminal mischief. A male suspect was identified, and the incident is under investigation.

On 5/31/19 at approximately 6:07 p.m., officers responded to the 300 Block of Silver Gulch Road on a report of a campfire. The fire was put out and a report was completed.

On 5/31/19 at approximately 8:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Z Casino parking lot to assist with a possible DUI. The male was found to be intoxicated and was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/31/19 Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a motor vehicle trespass. Surveillance footage was reviewed but no suspect information was obtained.

On 5/31/19 at approximately 10:09 p.m., officers responded to the KMM parking garage on a call of a vehicle trespass. They were unable to identify a suspect.

On 5/31/19 an officer responded to Highway 119 and Main Street regarding an accident with no injuries. A suspect has been identified and issued a summons.
