On 12/1/19, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a stolen wallet. Wallet was not returned. The suspect has been identified and contacted. The suspect was given a summons for theft.

On 12/1/19, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Black Hawk Police Officers responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on an intoxicated party who inappropriately touched a Mardi Gras employee. The suspect was given a citation and a report was taken.

On 12/2/19, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for a fraud issue. A report taken and parties were released. Charges are pending.

On 12/3/19, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Hotel for a domestic issue. The suspect located and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12/5/19, officers contacted a male at the Golden Gates Casino who was the subject of two extraditable warrants issued by the Black Hawk Police Department for failure to appear on a larceny charge and failure to appear on original charge of crimes against a person.

On 10/5/19, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a welfare check on a female party. Upon arrival, the female party was not coherent, and medics were called. The female party was placed on a medical hold due to being a danger to herself.

On 12/5/19, at approximately 4:12 p.m., officers responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on a report of a wallet theft. The suspect left the scene. The suspect was identified and will be contacted.

On 12/6/19, at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers contacted two sets of suspects suspected of doing a drug deal in the Monarch Casino bathroom. The suspects were identified and voluntary searches of their person and property were conducted. No drugs were found, and the parties were released. A report was taken.

On 12/7/19, officers contacted an underage party drinking alcohol at the Ameristar Casino. The minor and the party providing the minor with alcohol were issued citations.

On 12/7/19, an officer responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a lost property. The property was not found, and a report was taken.

On 12/8/19, an officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding found drugs. The drugs were retrieved and booked for destruction. 

On 12/9/19, at approximately 5:15 a.m., an officer took a report of a cell phone that had been stolen at the Lodge Casino. The victim stated they had placed the phone on the counter at the cashier’s counter. They accidentally left the phone on the counter and when they returned to get the phone, the phone was missing. Surveillance reviewed the video and observed a suspect take the phone after the victim had left the counter area. The suspect was identified. The officer was able to make contact with the suspect and the phone was returned. A summons was issued for the theft.

On 12/9/19, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Black Hawk Police Officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of drugs found in a hotel room. Multiple people were registered to the room. The drugs were seized, and no suspects were found.

On 12/10/19, at approximately 4:02 p.m., an officer responded to a civil issue. The reporting party stated she would handle the issue in civil court.

On 12/11/19, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft. A report was taken, and the investigation is ongoing.

On 12/13/19, at approximately 1:58 a.m., officers responded to a REDDI report leaving the Ameristar Casino. Officers contacted the driver and placed her in custody for DUI.

On 12/14/19, at approximately 12:43 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft. A female party was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant. The party was issued a citation and transported to detox.

On 12/14/19, at approximately 2:48 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino to assist Division of Gaming who was with an in-custody party known to be violent towards police. Officers assisted with a drug investigation.

On 12/14/19, at approximately 6:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino in reference to a lost wallet. During contact an involved party was found to have two warrants, out of Adams County. The subject was arrested and taken to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12/15/19, officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a verbal disturbance between a male and female party. No charges were filed, and a report was taken.

On 12/16/19, at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of a theft of a wallet. An officer contacted the suspect and issued a municipal summons for theft.

On 12/16/19, at approximately 11:54 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of an intoxicated male refusing to leave. Officers arrived and the male still refused to leave, so he was arrested for trespassing and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12/17/19, at approximately 7:00 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino in reference to a subject acting erratically. During the interview it was determined that the subject posed a danger to himself and others around them. They were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

On 12/17/19, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino, on a counterfeit bill. A report was taken.

On 12/18/19, at approximately 10:54 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of a damaged slot machine. The suspect left the casino but was identified and will be contacted.

On 12/19/19, officers responded to a report of harassment. After talking to the parties involved, it was determined to be a civil problem. Both parties agreed to separate.

On 12/19/19, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to assist the Colorado Division of Gaming in locating a party wanted on a warrant in the area. The party was arrested and transferred to a Denver metro area jail.

On 12/20/19, officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino on a report of fraud. A report was taken, and a summons was issued.

On 12/21/19, at approximately 5:38 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a stolen vehicle. A possible suspect has been identified.

On 12/22/19, at approximately 10:48 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino on a report of damage to a gaming machine. A suspect had struck the glass monitor of the gaming machine causing it to shatter. The suspect had used their Lodge Player’s Card and was identified. The suspect was contacted and admitted to the damage. The suspect was issued a Municipal Summons for damaging property.

On 12/22/19, at approximately 3:32 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance at the Lodge Casino. A male suspect was given a warning for harassment.

On 12/23/19, an officer responded to the Mardi Gras Casino, on a report of a stolen jacket. The suspect was located and issued summons.

On 12/24/19, officers conducted a traffic stop. The driver was issued a summons for driving while suspended and displaying fictitious plates.

On 12/24/19, at approximately 11:42 p.m., officers received call on a report of a disturbance at the Wild Card Casino. The suspect had gotten upset for not being served alcohol and threw food at the cashier. The suspect was found at the Gilpin Casino. The victim did not want to pursue charges against the suspect.

On 12/25/19, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a party trespassing. The party was issued a summons for trespassing. 

On 12/25/19, at approximately 9:36 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a fake ID. Officers identified the suspect, issued a summons and released him.

On 12/26/19, officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 119. The male driver was taken into custody on a felony warrant.

On 12/26/19, the Black Hawk Police Department received a call from a party that was concerned about the welfare of a family member who had been in the Black Hawk area. A report was taken.

On 12/27/19, officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a male party attempting to sell jewelry to a guest at the casino. The male since left in a black Cadillac Escalade. The vehicle was located, and a summons was issued for municipal code violations.

On 12/27/19, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a domestic disturbance where one party bit another. Both parties were contacted, and one was arrested for assault. A report was filed.

On 12/28/19, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on a party who was intoxicated and passed out in the bathroom. The party was contacted and voluntarily went to detox.

On 12/28/19, at approximately 8:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino for a welfare check. Upon arrival security personnel took officers to a room in the hotel where the subject was acting erratically. After a brief evaluation by officers the subject was deemed to be a danger to themselves or others if left unattended. The subject was voluntarily transported to the hospital.

On 12/29/19, at approximately 1:35 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill.

On 12/30/19, at approximately 1:32 a.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. The officer found that the bill was in fact counterfeit. The individual that passed the bill had received it several days prior at a gas station in Aurora. The individual did not have any similar counterfeit bills in his wallet. Counterfeit bill was seized and booked into evidence.

On 12/30/19, at approximately 9:57 a.m., officers received a phone report in reference to a theft of property and fraudulent use of credit cards.

On 12/31/19, at approximately 1:10 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on a report of found drugs.
