On 12-1-18, an officer responded to the area of the 100 block of Main Street on reports of a disturbance that started at the Z Casino. One person was taken into custody.


On 12-1-18, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino to attempt to assist a stranded party. The party was found to have an outstanding warrant and to be in violation of a court order. The party was taken to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-1-18, at approximately 8 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a lost phone. After surveillance review, the female was advised that she did not have a phone on the casino floor. A lost property report was issued.

On 12-1-18, an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino for a counterfeit bill. A report was taken.

On 12-1-18, officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino regarding a possible theft. The suspect was located, and a report was taken.

On 12-2-18, an officer was dispatched to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of a possible assault. The case is under further investigation.

On 12-2-18, at approximately noon, an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino regarding an auto theft. No suspect was on scene, but he was identified. The investigation is still ongoing.

On 12-2-18, an officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a stolen cell phone. The case is under further investigation.

On 12-2-18, at approximately 5:47 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a civil issue regarding a missing vehicle. A report was completed.

On 12-2-18, officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. Suspect info was obtained.

On 12-3-18, an officer took a phone report from a mental subject. The party was having paranoid thoughts and a welfare check was requested from the Denver Police Department. A report was taken.

On 12-3-18, an officer documented a 911 spam phone call. A report was taken.

On 12-3-18, at approximately 10:01 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, officers met with parties involved. After separating the parties, interviews were conducted. After investigation it was determined to be verbal-only disturbance.

On 12-3-18, an officer was dispatched to Miners Mesa on the report of a property damage accident. A report was taken.

On 12-3-18, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Black Hawk officers took a phone report regarding a lost phone. After obtaining information from the reporting party, casino surveillance was contacted to assist with locating the lost phone. Surveillance was unable to locate the reporting party based on the information he gave. No player card was used.

On 12-4-18, an officer responded to 196 Quartz Road to assist Gilpin County Sheriff’s Department on a disturbance involving a female and male party with a weapon. The suspect has been identified and taken into custody.

On 12-4-18, at approximately 8:18 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino to assist another agency with a stolen vehicle investigation. A report was completed.

On 12-5-18, an officer took a theft report regarding tools from two parties at the Monarch parking garage. The case is under further investigation.

On 12-5-18, officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was marked for motion picture use only, seized and placed into evidence at the police department.

On 12-5-18, an officer was dispatched to the KMM parking garage on the report of a non-injury accident. A Colorado State accident report was taken.

On 12-5-18, at approximately 3:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street on the report of a non-injury vehicle accident.

On 12-6-18, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding the theft of a cell phone. A suspect has been identified and issued a summons.

On 12-6-18, an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino on reports of a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected.

On 12-6-18, a woman contacted the Black Hawk Police Department to report that an item had been taken from her vehicle between November 23 and 24 while at the Lodge Casino. A report was taken.

On 12-6-18, an officer took a report of a possible crime with harassment that occurred in 2017. A report was taken.

On 12-6-18, at approximately 6:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Golden Gates Casino regarding lost property.

On 12-6-18, at approximately 9:07 p.m., officers responded to an Isle Casino Hotel room on a report of a deceased person in the room. A female was found deceased. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 12-7-18, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding criminal mischief. Damage had been done to a room and the guest was unable to be located. Photographs were taken, and the damage was documented.

On 12-8-18, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a man threatening his wife and co-workers. The male party was taken to the hospital on a mental health hold.

On 12-8-18, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft. Suspects were identified, and the investigation is ongoing.

On 12-8-18, Black Hawk officers responded to a group at the Isle Casino possibly tearing down Christmas lights. A report was taken.

On 12-8-18, an officer responded to the Century Casino to assist Gilpin County with a vehicle theft.

On 12-8-18, Black Hawk officers responded for an unconscious party at the Mardi Gras. A report was taken.

On 12-8-18, at approximately 6:29 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to a three-car accident Southbound Highway 119 at mile maker 3. Traffic control conducted the investigation until Colorado State Patrol arrived on scene.

On 12-8-18, at approximately 9:12 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck Lobby regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, both the victim and suspect were interviewed. The suspect was placed in custody and transported the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-9-18, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance between two groups of people. The disturbance was a verbal argument. Two male parties were identified and transported to the Gilpin County Jail for violation of a protection order.

On 12-9-18, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of theft. A report was taken, and the investigation is ongoing.

On 12-9-18, at approximately 3:31 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a call of a counterfeit bill. The female suspect was contacted, and she said she received the money from a Wal-Mart.

On 12-10-18, at approximately 2 a.m., officers responded to Black Hawk Fleet shops for found property. A report was completed.

On 12-10-18, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a theft. A female party was issued a summons.

On 12-10-18, an officer was dispatched to the Red Dolly on the report of a property damage accident. A report was taken.

On 12-10-18, an officer spoke to the registered owners of a vehicle parked on chase street regarding a vehicle not properly registered. The owners were advised of the situation and a report was pulled for documentation.

On 12-10-18, at approximately 9:43 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino regarding a disturbance. Upon a clearance check, the suspect was in violation of a protection order. The suspect was placed in custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-12-18, an officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage level 4 regarding a group of people doing drugs in a vehicle. A male party had been identified and issued a summons. A female party had been drinking and violated her protection orders. The female party was issued a summons.

On 12-12-18, at approximately 4:01 a.m., officers responded to 111 Richman Street on a call of found drugs. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-12-18, an officer was dispatched to a hotel room at the Ameristar, on the report of a possible sexual assault. After further investigation, it was determined to be unfounded.

On 12-12-18, at approximately 5:59 p.m., a male party turned himself in on an outstanding warrant at the Black Hawk Police Department. The male was transported to Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-13-18, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino Parking Garage on the report of drug use. One male was arrested, and a female was issued a summons.

On 12-13-18, an officer met an LPD Detective and assisted him in a serious bodily injury case from Lakewood. A report was taken.

On 12-14-18, a party contacted the Black Hawk Police Department and requested a courtesy ride. The party was found to have an outstanding warrant and was booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-14-18, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on reports of a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected, and a report was generated.

On 12-14-18, at approximately 3 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to 130 Main Street regarding a harassment and spoke with the victim about the incident. The suspect was partially identified but the investigation is still on going.

On 12-14-18, at approximately 3:56 p.m., officers took a phone report at 221 Richman Street on a report of a theft that occurred at 111 Richman Street, hotel room #2505. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 12-14-18, at approximately 6:24 hours, officers responded to 101 Gregory Street on a report of a $50 counterfeit bill. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 12-14-18, an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of an unwanted guest. The male party was taken to detox and denied, then transported to the hospital.

On 12-15-18, at approximately 1:34 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino hotel room #1010 on a report of a theft of property. A report was taken regarding the incident.

On 12-15-18, an officer assumed the investigation on a missing party. A report was generated and taken.

On 12-15-18, an officer completed a phone report of a stolen Apple I-Pad. A surveillance review was completed, and it did not show anyone stealing the I-Pad.

On 12-15-18, at approximately 6:25 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. The suspect was asked about the bill and stated that he received it from a pawn shop in parker.

On 12-16-18, officers responded to a medical assist on the report of a possible assault. There is suspect information and two male parties were charged with harassment.

On 12-16-18, an officer responded to the Mardi Gras Casino regarding a found purse with drugs in it. The suspect was identified and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-16-18, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance. One male party was cited for assault, and one male party was arrested for outstanding warrants.

On 12-16-18, at approximately 1 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance. Upon speaking to all involved parties, a summons was issued, and the suspect was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-16-18, officers were dispatched to a room in the Isle Hotel on the report of a suspicious medical call regarding a male party lying naked in a fetal position inside the bathtub. The case is under further investigation.

On 12-17-18, an officer was dispatched to level 3 of the KMM parking garage. The victim reported that his backpack was stolen from inside his vehicle. The case is under further investigation.

On 12-17-18, at approximately 1:46 p.m., an officer responded to a traffic accident near Gregory and High Street.

On 12-18-18, at approximately 12:14 a.m., officers were notified of a hit and run accident that occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Richman Street. A suspect vehicle was stopped on Highway 119 at MM 4.5 and a female was issued a summons.

On 12-18-18, at approximately 12:35 a.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a call of found drugs. There is no suspect.

On 12-18-18, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a welfare check. After the party was medically cleared and with dispatch, he came back with active warrants. He was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-20-18, a party called the Black Hawk Police Department to report that his vehicle had been damaged while he was at the Ameristar Casino on 12-19-18.

On 12-20-18, officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel on the report of a suicidal party. One party was transported to the hospital.

On 12-20-18 at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers observed two male subjects attempting to forcibly enter a vehicle in the Isle parking garage. Both subjects were taken into custody.

On 12-21-18, officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a lost wallet. A report was taken.

On 12-21-18, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male party with medical issues. The party was evaluated by paramedics and left in the care of family.

On 12-21-18, damage was found on a City of Black Hawk owned vehicle. A report was taken.

On 12-21-18, an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on reports of a cell phone theft. The officer spoke to the suspect who denied ever stealing the phone. Report was taken.

On 12-21-18, Black Hawk Police Department responded the Ameristar Casino to on a report of a possible stolen license plate. A report was taken.

On 12-21-18, at approximately 6:32 p.m., officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident at the Ameristar parking garage. A male suspect has been identified.

On 12-22-18, Black Hawk officers responded to a residence on Chase Street for a welfare check. A report was completed.

On 12-22-18, an officer responded to the Isle Casino for a lost property incident. A report was taken.

On 12-22-18, an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino for a fraudulent bill.

On 12-23-18, at approximately 1 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a theft. Upon arrival, the suspect was identified and contacted. According to the manager at Ameristar, the suspect paid back the full amount for the stolen item. No charges were filed.

On 12-23-18, an officer responded to the Saratoga casino on the report of damaged property. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-24-18, officers responded to the Isle Casino valet area, on the report of the theft of tip money. The male suspect fled on foot prior to officers’ arrival. The case is under further investigation.

On 12-24-18, an officer responded to the Isle Casino for a reported theft. Upon investigation completion, the item was located and no criminal activity was noted.

On 12-25-18, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a female party who damaged hotel property. After further investigation, the female party was issued and released on a county summons for criminal mischief.

On 12-25-18, officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a lost wallet. After further investigation, the wallet was found but was missing the money. The wallet was returned to the victim and the case is under further investigation.

On 12-25-18, at approximately 5:42 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a stolen wallet. A female suspect was identified and issued a summons for theft.

On 12-26-18, officers responded to the Isle Casino to assist another agency with follow-up regarding a possible assault. Investigation determined an assault occurred in the parking garage. The victim did not want to press charges. The suspect was arrested on other charges.

On 12-26-18, officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of two intoxicated parties at the Isle Casino. Officers arrived and assisted one party to a hotel room and referred the other to the Gilpin County Ambulance Authority for medical evaluation. An officer took a telephone report of lost prescription drugs. The reporting party was provided with a case number. The drugs have not been turned in.

On 12-26-18, an officer was dispatched to the maintenance shops on the report of a property damage accident. A report was taken.

On 12-26-18, at approximately 4:33 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of damaged property. A male suspect was identified and will be issued a summons at a later time.

On 12-26-18, at approximately 4:32 p.m., officers responded to 240 Main Street on a reported welfare check. A male was intoxicated, and he fell out of a chair. The male was cited for obstruction of a police officer.

On 12-26-18, at approximately 4:54 p.m., an officer responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a female receiving threatening text messages. The case is under further investigation.

On 12-26-18, at approximately 8:31 a.m., officers responded to 111 Richman Street, level 5 of the parking garage on a disturbance. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 12-27-18, Black Hawk police responded to the Ameristar Casino to assist with a medical emergency. A party was transported to the hospital.

On 12-27-18, at approximately 9:18 p.m., officers received a phone report regarding fraudulent activity.

On 12-28-18, Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a counterfeit $5 bill. A report was taken.

On 12-28-18, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to an unknown male waving a gun on Highway 119 at mile marker 5.8. Upon contact, the suspect was detained and searched but no weapon was found. Upon clearance check, the suspect had a warrant and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 12-28-18, at approximately 7:29 a.m., officers responded to 101 Gregory Street on a reported theft. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 12-28-18, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Black Hawk officers took a phone call regarding a possible kidnapping. Officers attempted to speak with the victim, who stated he did not remember the location of the incident. The victim stated he would think about calling back and reporting if a crime had been committed.

On 12-29-18, an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a disturbance. The male suspect was written a summons for harassment.

On 12-29-18, officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino self-parking lot on the report of a disturbance inside a vehicle. Investigation determined the disturbance to be verbal only, one party was arrested on an unrelated warrant.

On 12-29-18, officers responded to the Isle Casino hotel desk on the report of possible suspects located on a case from another jurisdiction. After an investigation, it was determined the suspects were not in the casino.

On 12-29-18, an officer responded to the Isle Casino, for a lost wedding ring. Upon investigation completion, ring was found and returned to the owner. A report was taken.

On 12-30-18, officers were on foot patrol at the Isle Casino and contacted a party who was advised he needed to leave the casino for being intoxicated. The party was advised by three separate people and finally was issued a summons for trespassing.

On 12-30-18, an officer responded to the Isle Casino for a reported violation of a protection order. Upon investigation completion, no orders were located.

On 12-30-18, at approximately 11:54 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle displaying expired registration on Highway 119. A male party was arrested on an outstanding warrant with additional charges.

On 12-31-18, an officer responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a lost wallet. The wallet was not found, and a report was taken.

On 12-31-18, an officer was dispatched to Main and Richman Street on the report of a property damage accident. A Colorado State accident report and CIRSA form was completed.
