On 4/1/18 officers responded to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of a male refusing to leave. The male was arrested on a warrant and taken to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 4/1/18 an officer contacted parties at the Isle on use of someone else’s identification. Upon further investigation, both parties were arrested on warrants and other charges.

 

On 4/1/18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a harassment. A suspect located and cited.

 

On 4/2/18 an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino regarding a theft. A suspect has been identified and a warrant for his arrest will be written.

 

On 4/2/18 at approximately 7:00 a.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a disturbance. One party was arrested and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 4/2/18 officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino reference found drugs. There is no suspect information.

 

On 4/2/18 at approximately 5:55 p.m., officers responded to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of theft of a cell phone. There is suspect information.

 

On 4/3/18 at approximately 11:50 p.m. officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a lost cell phone.

 

On 4/3/18 at approximately 11:40 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop for failure to observe a traffic control device. The vehicle was towed due to fictitious plates.

 

On 4/4/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a male party falling on the street. The male party was cleared by medics and a report was taken.

 

On 4/4/18 officers contacted a vehicle in the Lady Luck Casino self parking lot with stolen plates. The plates were booked into evidence and vehicle owner information was relayed to the agency in which the report initiated.

 

On 4/8/18 officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of an intoxicated male. The male had a warrant and was arrested.

 

On 4/5/18 an officer took the phone report of harassment, which had occurred at the Ameristar Casino. The suspect was eventually contacted and issued a summons.

 

On 4/5/18 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of found property. A syringe was collected and booked for destruction.

 

On 4/6/18 officers conducted a traffic stop at 5800 Hwy 119. The male driver was taken into custody for violations and the vehicle was impounded.

 

On 4/6/18 at approximately 7:32 a.m., an officer was flagged down by Golden Gulch/Mardi Gras Casino security about a suspicious male party attempting to enter the closed business through an emergency door. Upon security approach, the male party threw objects over the fence of the dumpster area. The items were recovered and contained methamphetamine, paraphernalia, stolen items, etc. It was later determined the suspect stole several items from within the Mardi Gras Casino, which were some of the items recovered in the dumpster area. The suspect was identified and arrested for possession, theft and violation of protection order.

 

On 4/6/18 officers responded to the intersection of Miners Mesa and Main for a non-injury accident.

On 4/7/18 at approximately 11:41 a.m., an officer responded to the Isle parking garage, level 3, on the report of a car break in. Tools were stolen from the truck bed tool box. A report was taken and the suspect was not identified.

 

On 4/7/18 at approximately 11:45 p.m., an officer conducted a welfare check on an individual sitting in a vehicle for an extended amount of time on level 3 of the Isle Parking garage. An arrest was made based on a warrant. Several paraphernalia items were seized and a large garment bag was in found in the vehicle.

 

On 4/7/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for a found wallet. A report was taken.

 

On 4/7/18 officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel for a warrant pickup. The party was taken into custody.

 

On 4/7/18 at approximately 8:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to a welfare check at the Monarch Casino. A party was later arrested on a warrant and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 4/8/18 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a found wallet containing a possible controlled substance. The investigation is ongoing.

 

On 4/8/18 an Officer responded to the area of Richman and Highway 119 on the report of a hit and run accident, with the suspect vehicle being a red Camaro with Hawaii license plates. Case is under further investigation.

 

On 4/8/8 an officer responded to the Black Hawk Police Department on a male party wanting to write a report. A report was taken on an alleged sexual assault.

 

On 4/9/18 at approximately 6:15 p.m. an officer responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on a report of a male party who dropped a small baggie containing a white powdery substance. The male party was located, arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 4/9/18 an officer responded to the 200 block of Bobtail Rd regarding damage property. Male party was still on scene and a report was taken.

 

On 4/9/18 at approximately 6:30 p.m. officers were notified of a vehicle trespass when issuing a summons. There is suspect information.

 

On 4/10/18 an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a stolen cell phone. Suspect information was attained, case is under investigation.

 

On 4/10/18 at approximately 4:25 p.m. officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on the report of found drugs. There is suspect information.

 

On 4/10/18 at approximately 6:10 p.m. officers responded to the Golden Gates Casino bus stop on a welfare check of a male party. The male party had a warrant and was booked into Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 4/10/18 at approximately 9:10 p.m. officers took a phone report of a theft that occurred in the Isle parking garage level 1. There is no suspect information.

 

On 4/11/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of an unknown situation occurring in a hotel room. A disturbance in the room had occurred earlier in the morning and one of the involved parties was reported to have been taking drugs. This case is pending further investigation.

 

On 4/11/18 an officer responded to the KMM parking garage on the report of a damage to property/theft. There is suspect Information.

 

On 4/11/18 at approximately 5:09 p.m., officers responded to 401 Main Street on a report of a stolen cellphone. A report was taken regarding the incident.

 

On 04/12/18 damage was observed on the rear bumper of vehicle 6.

 

On 4/12/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drugs A suspect was identified and jailed on the charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

On 4/12/18 at approximately 12:45 p.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a counterfeited bill that had been given to the manager on duty. The suspect was identified but they were unaware of where they obtained the bill or that it was counterfeited.

 

On 4/12/18 at approximately 4:12 p.m., officers responded to Highway 119 and Main Street on a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries. A report was taken regarding the incident. Upon arrival on scene, the officer activated his body camera.

 

On 4/13/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The involved party was transported to the Gilpin County Jail on active warrants.

 

On 4/13/18 an officer took a phone report from a female who lost her phone at the Isle Casino early in the morning. Surveillance footage showed her phone being set down on the cash cage and an unidentified male party picked it up and left. No suspects have been identified and a report was taken.

 

On 4/13/18 an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino on a report of found drugs. One taken into custody.

 

On 4/14/18 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a party attempting to cash a check with a fake identification card. The suspect left the scene prior to Officers’ arrival. The suspect has been identified.

 

On 4/14/18 an officer responded to a two car accident, in the 100 block of Miners Mesa. The scene was investigated, and a report was taken.

 

On 4/14/18 at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of found drugs. A female suspect was identified, placed into custody, and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 4/15/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar on report of drug use in the parking structure. One summons was issued and one suspect was taken into custody.

 

On 4/15/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Parking Garage level 5 on a report of a hit and run. A suspect has been identified and issued a summons.

 

On 4/15/18 at approximately 11:15 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino Hotel on the report of a disturbance. A male party was transported to the hospital for injuries and a female party was transported to detox. The male party was also issued a citation for damaging private property.

 

On 4/16/17 an employee of the Saratoga called to request a welfare check on a party at the Gazebo.

 

Officers responded, and the party was found to be ok, but had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The party was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 4/16/18 an officer responded to a report of a counterfeit bill at the Lady Luck Casino. A suspect was identified, and the bill was seized as evidence.

 

On 4/16/18 at approximately 12:26 p.m., an officer responded to the Lodge Valet on a report of money missing out of a vehicle which was parked in valet.

 

On 4/18/18 The Black Hawk Police Department investigated a report of damage to a motor vehicle that occurred at the Lady Luck Parking Garage. No suspect has been identified.

 

On 4/17/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Parking Garage level 5 on a report of a hit and run. Suspect was identified and issued a summons.

 

On 4/17/18 at approximately 10:43 p.m., officers responded to 488 Main Street on a report of a wallet theft. A male was contacted and cited for theft. A report was completed regarding the incident.

 

On 4/18/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage on the report of parties using narcotics in a vehicle. The parties were contacted; three were issued citations for controlled substance use, 1 party was taken into custody for DUI and controlled substance use, and another party was taken into custody for controlled substance possession.

 

On 4/18/19 an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of theft of earrings. A suspect was identified and contacted. After further investigation the suspect will be re-contacted and issued and released on a municipal summons for theft.

 

On 4/18/18 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of found drugs. No suspect has been identified. The drugs were seized for destruction.

 

On 4/19/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar on reports of found drugs. No suspect is in custody at this time.

 

On 4/19/2018 an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino on a report of theft of property.

 

On 4/19/18 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a hit and run. The suspect was contacted and issued a citation.

 

On 4/20/18 an officer responded to the Lady Luck parking garage on a report of damage to a vehicle. A report was made and photos were taken.

 

On 4/20/18 at approximately 1:10 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Hotel on a welfare check.

 

On 4/20/18 at approximately 6:23 p.m., officers responded to 488 Main Street on a reported counterfeit bill. A report was completed regarding the incident.

 

On 4/20/18 officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino regarding found property/drugs. Suspect was taken into custody for possession.

 

On 4/21/18 at approximately 1:09 a.m., officers responded to The Lodge Casino on a call of a wallet theft. The suspect was later contacted and issued a summons.

 

On 4/21/18 officers responded to an assault that had already occurred with injuries. The suspect was issued a summons and the victim was checked my medics.

 

On 4/21/18 officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino Hotel lobby, on the report of a lost child. After further investigation the child was reunited with his parents.

 

On 4/21/18 at approximately 8:20 a.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a party trespassing.

 

On 4/21/18 an officer was dispatched to the Wild Card Casino on the report of theft of a wallet. After further investigation, a suspect was contacted, and issued and released on municipal summons for theft.

 

On 4/22/18 officers performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Gregory St. and High St. The male driver was taken into custody for driving under revocation.

 

On 4/23/18 an officer was dispatched to an intoxicated party at the Ameristar Casino. Dispatch advised responding officers, the male party had been kicked off the gaming floor and alcohol service refused. Prior to officers’ arrival, they were advised the male had entered his vehicle and driven out of the parking garage. Officers conducted a traffic stop and the male party was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

 

On 4/24/18 at approximately 11:34 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of lost property.

 

On 4/24/18 at approximately 7:20 a.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of Main Street on the report of a non injury crash involving a Jeep and a City of Black Hawk median sign. A report was taken.

 

On 4/24/18 officers conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 119 at Richman Street. The traffic stop exposed a party to be in violation of a protection order for Domestic Violence. The party was taken into custody.

 

On 4/24/18 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the Black Hawk Police Department lobby on the report of a male party turning himself in. This party was arrested on a warrant.

 

On 4/26/18 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected, and a report was taken.

 

On 4/28/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of found drugs. No suspect has been identified.

 

On 4/28/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino to assist an officer on a traffic stop. A male party had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 4/28/18 an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino on a report of a male party urinating in public. The male party was contacted and was issued a summons.

 

On 4/28/18 at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found property. The owner has been contacted.

 

On 4/28/18 at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch on the report of a cell phone theft. There is suspect information.

 

On 4/29/18 an officer responded to an ID fraud situation at the Ameristar Casino. Casino security was not able to detain suspects upon arrival. The ID was recovered.

 

On 4/29/18 an officer responded to the Monarch parking garage on the report of an intoxicated female sleeping in her vehicle. Upon speaking with the female, the officer was advised the female was involved in a domestic dispute at an address within unincorporated Gilpin County 2 days prior. Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office responded and was unable to identify where the incident occurred. The female party was taken to the Lady Luck Casino where she got a room for the night. A report for domestic violence was taken, even though a suspect was not identified or a jurisdiction of where the incident occurred was not determined.

 

On 4/29/18 at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers received a phone report for a theft that occurred at the Ameristar Hotel. There is suspect information.

 

On 4/29/18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino reference a theft. Suspect is unknown.

 

On 4/29/18 at approximately 8:07 p.m., officers responded to the 100 Block or Reservoir Road, on a suspicious vehicle. A male party was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

 

On 4/30/18 at approximately 8:45 p.m., officers responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of lost property. A report was taken.
